Family Guy just did A New Hope, and it was one of the funniest things I've ever seen.
"Red Five standing by."
"Red Fox standing by."
"Red October standing by."
Pure hilarity. And Darth Stewie to boot!
Plus they ended it by pimping Robot Chicken, sort of. It just kept getting funnier as it went along, especially Peter providing his own soundtrack.
I used to get It.
Then It changed.
Now I don't even know what It is.

That was freakin' great. I didn't even hear the other callsigns after "Red October" because I was laughing too hard. That was a badass episode.

As far as I'm concerned, this was the best Star Wars fiction (In other words, Spaceballs doesn't count), done since Timothy Zahn wrote Heir to the Empire.
