You'll have to watch the whole show to get that reference I'm afraid.
http://eve-online.tv/ Welcome to Episode 14, the second being shown completely for free. You asked for it free, and damnit, we listened. You can still watch it through the Jalipo player if you wish - Fullscreen, separate window, slight quality increase - or you can hold on to any credits you have, and listen out over the next week on what to do with them.
The free player has also been updated, see this state of the art explanation device here to see some of the new options.
So, what's on the show?
* News from all around - Bizarrely, every story has a Nyx in it. Everyone has a supercap now.
* Goonswarm's SUAS joins us to fill the dual role of Expert and Guest. He sings, he swears, but mainly, he's just plain great.
* Gabe Knight - The smooth-voiced legend is back, profiling the Eagle.
* MOAR STAVROS. Also, Moar Angel. Liverpool saw a player meet last weekend, so we sent our 'intrepid reporters' to go check it out.
* Details on E-ON #9, which is ready for pre-order, and ships in a few days. Also, free gifts - get yourself an E-ON wallchart, cos they're flippin' fantastic.
* WIN! GTC and E-ON up for grabs this week, as well as an investigation as to where everyone's prizes went.

in all honesty after watching it, Tolon doesnt seem half as much of an ass as i thought of him as. Regardless, his Hulk would be primary and his pod secondary in any fight.
Good episode, shame it will be a week to see coverage of the MC titan loss, would have been nice to hear SUAS' thoughts on it too

I approve of Stevie's cleavage.
What's with Spiral trying to pull off some pseudo-rockstar look?

Did anyone else think that the section on the Liverpool EVE Meet would have been interesting if the music hadn't been mixed to completely smother the vocals?
Otherwise, well done. Free = Goodness.

DING DING! Too right!
The mixing levels on the Liverpool segment were way way off. Someone needs to gently remind the producer to level all the voices, and always keep background music in the background.
It was so annoying having that loud thumpy music overriding everything I just skipped ahead to the next section. The entire segment was like a 15 minute "clubbing" experience without the drinks or hot, sweaty, half-naked women. (Well all right, there was Angel, but all those guys hanging around just wrecked it. ). Next time, dial back the music and dial up the vocal track.

SUAS actually seemed pretty chill. Must be an interesting dude to sit down and have a pint or 2 or half dozen with. They should get him utterly tanked next time and get some sound-bites of his FC'ing.

I like it when stevie's head rocks forward slightly and her eyes take on a mischievous glint, before raising back again into the light and becoming sweetness itself.

Edited by: Larg Kellein on 30/09/2007 19:50:44 Good show, and yay free. The "background" music in the Liverpool meet segment should know its place and stay in the background, though. Well done on domesticating a Goon, as well

Good show. I'd be happy with just the outtakes at the end. Should do an entire of show of just Spiral and Stevie in front of a camera giving them plenty of drink.

I cant hear a thing that is being said in the liverpool meet segment. The background noise is too loud and the voices are too soft, causing the background noise to smother the talkers completely. I skipped it as I could not understand what was going on.
Anychance you guys could fix this so I can watch this segment? _ This is a dev trap sig. It has beer in it. Lets see how many we can catch :) *Free Beer, Don't mind the spikes* |

Well nice episode let down by a few things, when i watched on this new player the sync between the video and audio was a little off and also i had to refresh the page each time i changed sections because the player would become unresponsive and would refuse to load the next part :( ---------

I lurved teh epizode zo much!
The get-together portion could have used a little bit better sound editing... mostly just killing the back-ground music, it was drowning out the conversations. ____________ M.O.G. Army |
