Higher buy orders in Rens is at 3.19 Isk. Someone explained to me that that was because of the reprocessing nerf, now the trit comes from "an item" that make a trit price of around 3.6.
Should CCP consider to lower 20% of the trit in all constructions or should they let prices inflating ?
What do you think ? 2isk

Top-down market adjustments of this type are bad.
The price will adjust itself soon enough as more people mine veld for the higher resale value.

No, price of buys is 3.5isk in Jita... Let it rise to the hardcap... Other minerals have dropped in price so the median ship price is pretty much the same.
Although kernite, plagio, and veldspar are the best things to mine now

I think silos gave you that 3.6, but they nurfed it.
Tbh, hauling the stuff is too much of a bother from jita to anywhere you can use it... ___ P.S. Post with your main. Mind control and tin hats |

its shuttles your thinking of that give you trit at a rate of 3.6isk/unit.
But hold onto your hats, looks like someone in CCP wants to remove that too.
The reason that trit has steadly climbed in price from avg 2.5isk/unit to where it is today, is due to removal of an NPC sold item that gave us a pricing cap of 2.6isk/unit(or right around there, dont have my figures in front of me atm). -- http://www./sigs/Treelox/sig.png [orange]signature removed (change the zombie gagging sig) - please email us (with the signature URL) if you want to know why - Pirlouit([email protected] |

Coupling array gave lots of trit for 2.4. That is nerfed now and doesn't give any resonable amount of trit any more.
Shuttles give trit for 3.6 at the moment, so the cap there is 3.60 now. Maybe other npc items give different caps, maybe not.
Jita prices are already at 3.5 currently.
I think it would be best to remove any artificial cap. Let the market decide. And when trit is too expensive then people maybe just don't fly capitals and supercapitals like battleships any more?

You see, the reprocessing nerf hasn't jet started. Logistic people of Alliances have cried enough to stop it for a time.
The only change was in 1 (one) specific module that was brought from NPC and then reprocessed. That single module, apparently, was keeping down the tritanium price.

This isn't true, unfortunately. It would be if the primary source of tritanium were mining but it's not. The primary sources are refining of loot and shuttles. I wouldn't like to speculate at the percentage of the trit sold on the market daily that actually comes from miners but I would suggest that it's extremely low.

Caps removed means tritanium price will stabilize at that level where mining Veldspar will yield roughly the same income as L4 highsec mission running. So, depending on player skills, ship, gear and all that jazz, anywhere between 1000-2500 m^3 of Veldspar per minute on average for 10-40 mil ISK hourly income.
So, in that case, the price of Tritanium will stabilize somewhere between 5 and 9 ISK per unit. The most probable level in the vicinity of 6.5 ISK per unit.
See, CHRIBBA had the right idea. _

I think mineral prices are about to go through the roof with the amount of super cap ships that are being blown up plus the amount of normal cap losses are high to.

I ran the numbers in Stacmon (where I operate out of) for highsec ore, came up with some interesting results...
Veld: 72 / m3 Plag: 90.7 / m3 Scordite: 86.6 / m3 Omber: 83.3 / m3 Kernite: 166.6 / m3
Given that Veldspar rocks can usually survive many stripminer cycles, the low price is offset by the fact that it can be mined more efficiently than the other ores. Kernite is far too rare in 0.5 and above to be worth mining, except when you happen to chance upon a rock.
Something is causing a spike in the demand for the lowest of the lowends. I've heard a lot of theories but the one about recycled drone region loot flooding the highend market seems the most reasonable to me.

It sure would skyrocket if suggestion in latest economic devblog is implemented and shuttle cap on tritanium is removed. Good or bad - it sure would be interesting thing.
As far as price stabilization goes. Akita is prolly quite close altho I would think stable point is somewhere around 20% under regular lev 4 mission income, as it's possible to do mining more 'afk style' and/or with several accounts easier.

Well, yeah, but good luck finding any Veldspar left in any belts close to any hubs if the Tritanium price skyrockets like that. You'll probably find even some lolwsec belts stripmined of Veldspar
On the other hand, "supply" of L4s is only limited by time you're willing to spend. _

I think that the raise on the tritanium prices are going to break Jita¦s stockmarket soon...after that we are going to have a tidal wave effect, mass unemployment, raise of piracy, lack of founds for missions reward and bounties...it is going to be like 29...

Edited by: OneSock on 01/10/2007 11:31:56 I blame the pirates. If they didn't keep shooting the damn ships from under us there would be less demand for new ships, less demand for minerals to build them and prices would drop.
