ok i found that alot of ppl are useing port tunel'ing so i have the prog but no idea on what im doing here :)
Says here :-
Http_tunnel listens on port 1080 for connectios from applications |
So do i need to chage that to something diffrent.
I also added Destination port as 26000 and ip address 157.157.139.10

far as I remember you can easily change the port eve needs to use in your prefs.ini. this file can be found in your docs&settings\<username>\local settings\application data\CCP\EVE\settings
Just change the port to something that is allowed on the uni and you should be ok:)

Will this work around work with the Tiscali issue of blocking port 26000?

will it work with tiscali?
The odds on me being here are rather slim evolutionary speaking, yet in the infinite bounds of probability my being here is a certainty. |

1) Get a Shell (SSH Server you connect to) 2) Download Nutty/Putty 3) Open the above 4) Go to Connection/SSH/Tunnels on the left 5) Source port: 26000 -- Destination: 87.237.38.200:26000 6) Press "Add" 7) Login to your SSH 8) Open EVE and type "localhost" or "127.0.0.1" instead of "Tranquility" -- It might take a few tries before it gives you the result 9) ???? 10) PROFIT!! ---
