Basically I have a dilemma: 2 decent setups, both have pros and cons, and i can't decide on which.
These will be used in Empire wars and pirate gate camp busting (most likely with limited gang remote repping.)
Setup 1:
7x Ion Blaster Cannon IIs
Domination 100mn MWD X5 Web Warp Disruptor II True Sansha Heavy Cap Booster
2x Shadow Serp. Large Reps 2x EANM IIs 1x IFFA 2x MFS IIs
3x Aux. Nano Pumps 5x Ogre IIs
Minimum 600 DPS tanked, 1020 DPS, 1kms Top Speed, Lasts for 3mins with everything running permanently.
Setup 2:
7x Neutron IIs
Domi MWD X5 Web Warp Disruptor II Heavy Electrochem Cap Booster
2x 1600mm RT Plates 2x EANM IIs 1x DCU II 2x MFS IIs
3x Trimarks 5x Ogre IIs
28k armor, 1.1k DPS, 900ms top speed, lasts for ages cap wise.
The lower one is cheaper, but I may buy 2x SS MFS with the money saved.
Both setups fit with AWU 4, Electronics 5 and a Zainou 'Gypsy' KMB-75 Hardwiring.
Stats are with my current skills and no implants.

Top one if going solo/in small gang.
Bottom one if your gang has some(or a lot of) remote repping, or if you find yourself being primaried a lot.

I'd use something similar to 1 only on a hyperion.

Setup 1 is more survivable in smaller fights. A fit similar to that beat a corp mates absolute-gank gang Neutron Vindicator in a friendly duel. I was in a Megathron.

I'd use no 2 because gank megas are <3
I'd drop the faction stuff and switch the DC or one eanm to a MFS II for more gank and affordability.
Stuff melts in matter of seconds, or then not and youre dead

Yeah, more gank, less tank. Quite possibly drop one of the reps. ------------------------------ One more soldier off to war... And one Velator in my hangars. |

If you're gonna fit Dual Reps fit a Hyperion. It will outtank the mega by another 30 odd percent and push out the same dps with an Ion fit.
If you wanna fly Gank Neutrons the Mega is the way forward, tho id drop an EANM for another 1600plate as it gives you more effective HP overall.
