Hi,
Since approx. patch 1360 Eve generates sound corruption. After approx. 10 minutes the sound is all noisy and I then need te reboot my computer, to restore it again.
I spoke to someone else, who had exactly the same problem.
Is this a known problem?
ASUS mainboard nForce2 w/ SoundStorm Windows XP Pro

I get extremely irritating sound looping, that continues until I quit. It's usually (but not always) apparent at log-in, and rejoining will sort it out, but this can take several attempts.
I'm not sure whether it's related, but log-in and game transitions (jumping, docking, etc) seem to take a lot longer when the sound bug is happening.

I have had similar problems. The recommended fix from CCP (and it works) is to reduce the hardware acceleration level under sound settings in control panel. They say disable it entirely but I managed to get it to work okay with some acceleration.
Obviously without acceleration the sound is not as good but its a lot better than having it mess up all the time.

Another suggestion is to use (Win 98) compatibility mode for Eve, solved all my sound problems.
