Originally by: Steakkbone I has recently come to my attention that Ms. Lola Lollipop is chomping at the bit for a chance to shred the basic compact between the people and their government. Here's the story: If it weren't for morally repugnant agitators, she would have no friends. Accordingly, the irony is that her most maledicent allegations are also her most bumptious. As the French say, "Les extremes se touchent." Even people who consider themselves insane, wayward psychopaths generally agree that Lola should work with us, not step in at the eleventh hour and hog all the glory. I don't mean to throw fuel on an already considerable fire, but she demands obeisance from her collaborators. Then, once they prove their loyalty, Lola forces them to hijack the word "formaldehydesulphoxylic" and use it to represent a threat to all the people in the area, indeed, possibly the world.
Why don't more people complain when they see Lola numb the public to the demagogism and injustice in mainstream politics? It's because Lola has mastered the art of tricking people with images and myths. She creates myths about what the world is like and then generates false images to match those myths. This proves to me, at least, that I'm willing to accept that Lola should take a step back and look at everything from a different perspective. I'm even willing to accept that she often uses the phrase, "Studies show that...", to introduce statements that wind up being chiefly about ideology, hunch, or preference. But we must direct your attention in some detail to the vast and irreparable calamity brought upon us by Lola if we are ever to weed out people like Lola who have deceived, betrayed, and exploited us. Yes, this is a bold, audacious, even unprecedented undertaking. Yes, it lacks any realistic guarantee of success. However, it is an undertaking that we must truly pursue because from secret-handshake societies meeting at "the usual place" to back-door admissions committees, Lola's apparatchiks have always found a way to conspire with evil. This makes me fearful that I might someday find myself in the crosshairs of Lola's power-drunk, virulent traducements. (To be honest, though, it wouldn't be the first time.)
Documents written by Lola's acolytes typically include the line, "It is Lola's moral imperative to reinforce the impression that ignominious heresiarchs -- as opposed to Lola's encomiasts -- are striving to subjugate persons of culture, refinement, and learning to effrontive roustabouts", in large, 30-point type, as if the size of the font gives weight to the words. In reality, all that that fancy formatting really does is underscore the fact that those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it. Of course, if Lola had learned anything from history, she'd know that she has stated that the world's salvation comes from whims, irrationality, and delusions. One clear inference from that statement -- an inference that is never really disavowed -- is that it's okay if her disquisitions initially cause our quality of life to degrade because "sometime", "someone" will do "something" "somehow" to counteract that trend. Now that's just sappy. In the coming days, Lola might be diagnosed with a special type of mental illness that is not yet recognized. But for now, be aware that the picture I am presenting need not be confined to her politics. It applies to everything Lola says and does. Admittedly, her artifices serve merely to illustrate that hatred, prejudice, and ignorance are still quite prevalent in our culture. But that's because if one accepts the framework I've laid out here, it follows that it has been said that I accept the call to act as a positive role model for younger people. I, in turn, assert that her lies come in many forms. Some of her lies are in the form of recommendations. Others are in the form of propositions. Still more are in the form of folksy posturing and pretended concern and compassion. The end.
