It would be nice to have the ability to change your character name and picture when taking over someone's account. Something like a selectable option upon changing the billing and account information to reflect the new owner (must be a full change not just a change in credit card number). If you selected NO the account would remain as is, If you chose YES you would proceed to character alteration and would be allowed to select a new name and portrait in the same bloodline to including gender change (but a brutor must be a brutor again). You could not choose a new skill tree or stats so the characters' skills would not have to be updated. The character would loose all corp status and history and would be placed in the default start corp for thier race. That way the new owner could start a unique character line without having to be accountable for the former owners actions and make a character that they can more closely identify with.

..problem is identity jumping. Let's say I have two credit cards -- I go out in .3 and gank, gank, gank with a developed character using a battleship. My security rating tanks, but I've got all this great loot! Normally, people'd hunt me and I'd be in it for the long haul. Oh! But wait! Two cards! I switch payment from one card to another, which I have as, er.. say my formal given name, as opposed to a name-change I had when I was 18. Voila! New identity, same loot, no consequence. ;)

erm....not to mention that you're not supposed to sell your account to begin with. Why should they accomodate those who do.

name change when 18? don't sell your account/turn it over? 1. pretty farfetched don't you think (what if worms had guns? I guess birds wouldn't eat them) 2. Why would you currently be able to switch users if you were not allowed to switch users? If that were the case you would only be able to change credit card info not all user info. (I said nothing about purchase but have you looked at EBAY?). But for the sake of argument add a once per month limit on change and no repeat users on the account for paranoia's sake. (hopefully they didn't make 3 name changes and get 3 seperate cards just for EVE.) Just a thought

You mean I could just go on a scamming rampage after I've joined a corporation, instilled trust and then ripped them off, all this and all I have to do is sell my account to another front for me to wipe it all.
Pure genious!
