omiNATION Gallente	Posted - 2007.10.12 20:52:00 - [1] It didn't explode or anything, but I ran out of cap right about when the frigate went into armor, and apparently the ship doesn't have enough cap recharge to keep a gun, a warp scram and two webbers up. So should i just wait for a iteron V to fit a proper shield/WCS fit? I did notice that the iteron 4 has some crappy shield stats with less than 300 shield... I actually ran when i started getting into armor, should i have stayed? How should I change my fittings?

As far as cap issues go... consider using projectile guns as they require no cap, and stick a cap recharger in a mid slot. And obviously make sure your caps skills are both at least lvl 4. Don't use WCS as your slow locking time will let targets slip away.

Though obviously unusable in "true" PvP, industrial ships are thought of as not a threat at all, against any ship. This is entirely false. People have proven time and time again that a war badger, for example, can easily (though with time) take out interceptors, and T1 frigates. Essentially, the OP was trying to find people who thought he would be an easy target, and then eliminate them.

You can take out most people's idea of a ratting cruiser. If anyone fits a serious 'gank' fit on, you're in trouble. And watch your cap...you can manage to cap yourself out with this. If you're not running the neut, you won't cap out :) Note, if the target is using a nos, neut him hard and try to almost cap out...he's using yours to good advantage. I used to have a nos on there before they nerfed it. But in most fights its not useful since your cap usage is so low. And yes, go for the itty 5 if you are going for a battle-hauler. More slots==more gooder. --
