Hey all
Just started playing the game and I must say I am enjoying it very much :)
Anyway being relatively new and also in Australia I was wondering if there were any Aussie Time Zone based Corporations out there that would be willing to help out a new player?

Edited by: Pellaeon DuGalle on 15/10/2007 12:02:12 YES!!! Australia ftw. Bonus points if you're from Melbourne/Victoria. You loose points if you're from Sydney .
Anyhow, we're a small corp who currently don't engage in inter-steller politics on a large scale. We will participate if it comes knocking, but we don't go looking. If you're new, I'd suggest (with a certain bias ) that you join a small corp (like us) and get to know the game before moving on.
We're a fairly casual corp, since all of us are either students or work full time with families ("your baby did what?!?"). We're an industrial corp, which means we do mining, manufacturing, trade and mission running. We don't officially do PvP, but we do make weekly visits to 0.0 (PvP free zone) in PvP fitted ships and "accidently" bump into hostiles while ratting (shooting NPCs for isk) .
We've got a resident trader (make 1bil form 11mil over 1-2 months), 0.0 manufacturer and liver-er (me), mission runners and our own High sec POS for all your BPO research needs. All in all we're a well rounded corp so you can get a feel for all aspects of EVE, barring huge fleet battles (which are usually lagtastic).
Drop me an eve-mail, or better yet, join us in our public channel "Deepblack". Most of us will be there and are most active between 6pm EST and around 11pm on weekdays. On weekends almost everybody shows up.
edit: We prefer newbies. We like newbies.

These are only a couple Aussie based corps worth their salt. Cold Fury (PvP 0.0 Based) ANZAC Alliance (Empire Based corp. Excellent corp)
Both part of the Southern Cross Alliance. I was in ANZA for about 6 months. Training programs for everything PvP.
Now im in Cold Fury. Still part of the same alliance, one of the biggest in the game. For a new player, ANZAC is the go.
Check out ANZA.
