Hey guys
Ive come upon a new enemy which i cant kill.
What i wanna know is there is this guy with a stabber thats doing 6.5 km/s and i just cant seem to catch him he gets outa my range in no time.
Can anybody tell me how he does this!

With 3 overdrives, 3 mass rigs and a T2 MID, he could get close to 5000m/s (possibly over, with good skills). I imagine 6500m/s is obtainable without Snake implants, if he uses a faction MWD.

muninn with high skills can kill a stabber i bet,
5x 720mm II/ emp ammo + fusion ( for range )
2x tracking comp 1x web
3x gyro
so funny watching the nano ships dieing XD
my skills are btw
lvl 4 hac
lvl 5 surgical strike
lvl 4 advance artillery
lvl 5 motion prediction
lvl 5 Rapid fire
lvl 4 fall off
then couple of damage implants
and your damage mods should be about 19.5 with tracking to hit thoes bastards :D

That's damn fast for a stabber. That could not be acheived without a serious investment. A vagabond could do it more easily.
Huginn / Rapier + Damage dealing = dead stabber.

Sensor boosted Huginns/Rapiers equal dead nano-ships, mkay?
There are all sorts of nano-ship threads around, look for tactics to beat them, use search, etc.

yea.. but what sensible nano-ship pilot will go near a huginn / rapier? give them a surprise with a muninn :D

It's neither that fast, nor that expensive. You can hit over 6500 (6815 actually) with the following setup:
Skills
-------
Nav skill 5
Cruiser 5 (stabber gets 5% speed bonus per cruiser level)
Accel Control 5
Implants
--------
rogue CY-1 3% speed (cheap)
rogue MY-1 3% speed (cheap)
Mods
----
3 x overdrive injector II (cheap)
Rigs
-----
3 x polycarbon rigs (ok, these are a bit expensive I guess, if you buy them, you can get them via salvage much cheaper)
That is of course without gang bonuses, which could make it much faster. If he was in a gang with a claymore with skirmish mind-link, you could drop all 3 polycarbon rigs and still be going 4798 without gang and over 6500 with gang.
Alternatively, you can replace the polycarbons with the cheaper Aux Thrusters, and replace 2 overdrives with nanofibers, and you get 5406 without gang, and over 7k with gang.
You could also stick in a zor's cutom nav hyper link for 25mil or so, and add 5% speed to all the above setups.

Can easily hit 6500m/s in a stabber, w/out using t2 or even faction stuff. All this is without implants which would obviously make it much easier.
All skills at 5:
3x overdrive t2, 10mn mwd t2, 3x polycarbon t1 rigs = 6450 m/s
All skills at 5 with oober stuffs:
3x domination overdrives, 10mn gistum type a mwd, 2x polycarbon t2 + 1x polycarbon t1 (due to limitations) = 8500 m/s

Or have a friend drop in 100km away. No transversal problems and a stabber has no tank.
Even a Ferox can kill it at range without much effort and we all know how overpowered that is
