TL:DR Chribba for CSM 7! Like his post on the CSM7 thread to show your support.
Chribba, for those who don't know him, is considered a legend among players. He created and has maintained the eve files website for many years supplying a free service for eve related uploads, he is well known for his mining veldnaught in Amarr and for being a trusted third party for many high isk transactions. Many players flocked to save his outpost in providence when it was under threat.
He knows about almost every facet of the eve universe having played pretty much since beta and has delved into all walks of eve life.
He said jokingly that he might consider running and i think he would be a great addition to the next CSM as a non null alliance candidate perhaps even being a strong contender for chairman.
If you would like to see Chribba run, and would offer your votes for him please like his post on the CSM7 thread, if it gets over 100 likes Chribba will know he has enough support to get nominated.
I want to state this isn't an anti null allaince csm whine, I just think Chribba would bring a good balance to the csm and perhaps go somewhere to rectify the over saturation of null players on the council.

Fair enough like his post on the CSM7 thread, I don't want likes for the sake of them. I want Chribba to run. |

Chribba only found out 5 weeks ago you needed to be in a fleet to actually use a cyno.
I'm on the fence though, we need a high sec rep not another null dweller. |

Begging for 'likes' is pathetic.
This isn't Youtube.
If Chribba wants to run, he'll run. I highly doubt 100 likes on a sh*tty forum post will make him chose either way. |

I have a feeling Chribba values his neutrality and good name far too much to want to be a CSM. When you choose a stance in politics, a large chunk of people will blame you for all of their problems.
Also, he runs a bunch of EVE-related websites and checks the forum here every time his name is mentioned. Where would he find the time? "The EVE forums are intended to provide a warm, friendly atmosphere for the EVE community."-áGÇö-áEVElopedia |

I would certainly consider Chribba as a more noteworthy candidate if he stood.
His continuence to demonstrate this "neutrality" is his most redeeming feature, in that he could have an impartial holistic view to the game, something he has demonstarted before. In essence his quality of objective reasoning which seems problematic in the EvE culture could be his best assest if he wished to use it.
As opposed to some members of the existing members of the CSM who have simply shown themselves to be biast and corrupt.

Chribba will not run as it will compromise his neutrality in Eve.
Also, cross posting on the forums is a no no. |

It's alot like mining in EVE. It's sort of possible but it's truly painfull and not really worth it, best done with an alt.

Simply because if you are a member of the CSM you shouldn't neccesarily expect any in game benefit or advantage as a result of that position?
Or are you saying that the existing CSM members use it to suplement their power of course? You see how complacent the existing political climate is that it has made you in fact, revealed within your expectations, to how biast or corrupt the current CSM is. What a fool.

Feeding your pubbie alliance with lul kills is not saving a station.
And to be honest, Chribba is a neutral broker. If I ever want an Aion, I know where to go. Once I jump it out of his system, he isn't obligated to defend it. |

Yeah, I've always noticed that about him too. He never really says anything thought provoking or tries to take sides in anything. He probably cares too much about what others think and couldn't take the criticism needed if running for a position. Don't get me wrong; he's added value to the EVE community with his innovative technological solutions. But to be a CSM candidate requires a different pedigree.
If he did run, I'd certainly consider voting him just based on the trust that he engenders. . |
