It does however lose a bit on the shield side. Golem: 10250 shields, 1704s recharge -> 14.5 natural regen CNR [1x PDSII]: 14765 shields, 1715s recharge -> 20.6 natural regen
Just checking a few numbers...
Golem, 2x CCCII rigs, max cap skills Med: Pith X-Type X-Large SB, Photon Scattering II, Heat Dissipation II, 2x Invulnerability Field II, 2x Cap Recharger II Low: 4x Power Diagnostic System II
... does permarun (100.4 cap/s used, 103 cap/s peak recharge). Tankable on the lowest resist around 1100dps, overall 1250-1300, peak 1500dps.
Don't write the Golem off just yet.
You have a nice math down there, I'll agree with that.
What you miss the point, however, is that with your current build the dps is far, far inferior to what anyone else would have in a CNR. Also it's extremely expensive for a simple "trade-off". I mean cmon, 4 PDSes. If you also are going with Complex Shield Boosters, you might as well faction/complex/officer other stuff. Consider the hull of the ship, you can obtain a very similar tank on a CNR while maintaining around 600-700 DPS which is far off the league of your current setup, and that's all necessary to run anything nowadays you may need except lolL5 missions.
Also your build miss the bonus to target painters. You may not realize, but the very fact you avoided an inherent bonus in the ship (thus missing dps) just so you could show a tank that isn't even unatainable in a CNR shows that the ship has an inherent flaw there.
Overall you got a solid strong tank that has no purpose whatsoever because the ship can't kill **** or will take twice (more to be fair) as long as a CNR to kill stuff while the CNR could also in the meanwhile have a similar tank if the pilot wanted.
