Did anyone catch Heroes s02e07, I saw it last night and I was very impressed by the quality of the program. It is a well thought out story and I intend to religously watch the entire season.
I hear that the Exec Producer, Tim Kring, also did Knightrider back in the day.
Im your typical scifi nut, and I love the concept of time travel, super humans and all that make believe stuff. Fact, Heroes is the best show on TV, closley followed by Lost and 24.

No Sylar in that episode :( But at least Peter has his memory back and doesnt have that constant 'wtf?' look on his face any more. Nice twist at the end too :o
Great show, and I loathe 99% of the junk on TV.

I've watched heroes every week since day 1. I've made a few post about it.
Great show, I really like the most recent episode. Since its already been several days I see no reason not to talk about it.
The Takezo Kensei(sp) or Adam (i think) is just great, if you think about him and the aspect of how....wait i just thought of something...isnt that a paradox?
If you havent seen the episode dont read below here. Okay?
Hiro wouldnt have gone back in time if it wasnt for the whole bomb New York thing. New York wouldnt have been bombed if Adam hadnt wanted to be God on Earth, because he is supposedly responsible for Linderman's idea of we must save humanity by destroying it. Maybe Linderman would have been a true hero and decided to end Sylar before he began. Which could have completely altered everything.

So do we reckon Kensei time-travelled, or just that he's lived out those 400 years the long way? He can't be injured, so it's not much of a stretch to imagine he can't age either. --------------------------------------------------------------------

Ok, how can I explain this
When they were dealing with the bomb threat in approx 2007, Hiro had already gone back in time and betrayed Adam, He just didnt know it yet because it happened in 1671. The fact that Linderman wanted to let Peter explode and kill 0.7% of the populace meant that the events involving Hiro and Adam in 1671, had already taken place, Hiro just hadnt experienced it yet.
Even from the first episode of Heroes when Hiro realized his power, it was always his destiny to go back in time and betray Adam, which means it had already happend.
The rest of season 2 will be very confusing and im not sure how they are going to sort all of this out. Once Hiro learns that Adam is behind "The Company" he may attempt to go back in time and stop himself betraying Adam, however, this may cause further confusion.
The moral of the story is, dont ever travel through time

Would Adam/Kensei really have managed to hold such a grudge for over 300 years? It just seems a little unlikely tbh. --------------------------------------------------------------------

well now that's weird... coz the huge big heroes community has complained so much about season two that the producer publicy and officially asked for forgiveness and the episode that airs on 3rd december will have an adapted script and the serie will be again more like season#1

Sometimes I wonder why my opinion differs so greatly from other people that are very much like myself. I have friends that are very much like me we generally have the same taste in movies and TV shows. But when it comes to BSG, Lost, Heroes, etc. I just find them all to be total and utter garbage. Especially when compared to other TV shows I like that don't contain that network TV tackiness. Like Dexter, Carnivale, etc.
When watching BSG, I found it to be some kind of comedy with some of it's antics. For instance when Starbuck repaired a hole in a spaceship with her jacket, then proceeded to fly into outer space with it. I can't even make stuff like this up, my friend and I were ROFLing.
As for Lost, there's pretty much nothing going on in each episode, and I don't find any sort of intricacy in what it does. Contrast Lost to a Carnivale which also moves slow at time, but each episode was almost like poetry in motion.
And Heroes, it's full of way too much melo-drama for my tastes. I've only really seen most of season 1, I couldn't really bare to watch it anymore. I didn't like it from the start really with that Indian dude's pseudo-scientific babbling at the beginning of each episode. But I kept watch in hopes of it getting better, but it never really did. IMO it fails to deliver on action, and it fails to provide a compelling story line such as series such as Dexter and Carnivale.

Season 2 is as good as ever but I can see it going down a slippy slope soon.
Sylar shoudld have stayed dead.
The new Mexican(?) brother and sister are crap.
The Nightmare Man, who at the end of season 1 sounded like he was gonna be an awesome villain was a ******* joke.
Other than those little gripes I think it's the best show on TV atm (excluding Dexter but they are totally different genre's).
I'd like to see Heroes come to an end this season, but it's American and I bet it pulls in the advertisers and that'll mean it'll do a "Lost", be ruined and lose loads of viers who'll be saying on these, and other, forums

Kensei's power is not Cellular Regeneration, like Claire. It's been officially stated SOMEWHERE that his power is Immortality. ----------------------

What planet are you on buddy, are u logged in from pluto?
How can you possibly think that theres nothing going on in Lost, One episode that comes to my mind is the one where a guy and a girl kill some dude for his diamonds, when they both crash on the island they lose the diamonds, the guys finds them but doesnt tell the girl, the girl finds out he has the diamonds and throws a female spider at him that quickly paralyses him. What she didnt remember is that the female spiders fermones are so strong that all the male spiders come running and paralyse her.
So, all the other people on the island find them, they dont know that the guy and the girl are paralysed, cos they look dead. They then proceed to bury them alive, and the girl wakes up just as shes being burried. The island get them one way or another.
So how can you possibly say Lost has nothing going on in each episode?
finally, How can you possibly say that the storyline of Heroes aint compelling? Its completly amazing.

I liked Lost but they really lost it towards the end there.
The key to enjoying it was to realise it was going nowhere.

Personally am very much enjoying Heroes direction right now. If you stopped watching after the first season you're missing the good stuff. I do agree the the bro/sis combo from somewhere south of Mexico is lame, and sylar still being alive is meh... but the rest is very much keeping my interest. _ . - Justice, Mercy, and Faith My soul has horizons further away than those of early mornings, deeper darkness than the night |

Well as far as im concerned its all good , top class entertainment, I think the mexican brother and sister are cool, the way their desperatly trying to cross the border, and the way the girls power must be absorbed by her brother to turn it off.
Apparently Heroes was written by the same dude that wrote Knightrider, Tim Kring, u remember that? That car Kit was so cool man.

Living in the UK I have only seen the first 16/17 episodes of season 1
The really odd thing is it's an American Network sci-fi drama I enjoy watching that hasn't been shelved by the network halfway through the 1st season.

I wish sylar had died too and the Mexican bro and sister seem to be going nowhere. Still it should be VERY interesting to see how it all pans out, can't wait until next weeks episode, Woooow!.

i bet the mexicans (or sylar getting their powers) are the only ones that maybe could actually kill adam.
an official statement that adam's power is immortality is a little bit stupid, because that would create a villain you could NEVER kill. he must have a weak point. even if they shut him into some sort of prison, he would keep comming back. that would be stupid imo.
i think sylar is still alive for a reason. and i believe that reason is related to adam on the good or bad way

It's good, but I'm a bit disapointed that I saw it coming I like to be surprised What I'm not sure of though, is whether Adam has immortality/survivability or whether like Peter he can pick things up by thinking of/being around others - i.e got time travel from Hiro. It's definately picking up though, and you can see the strands starting to come together now.
Quote: it fails to provide a compelling story line such as series such as Dexter and Carnivale.
I watched one episode of Dexter, mainly from reading peoples positive comments about it on these forums. It was utterly boring The character wasn't interesting at all, despite the interesting premise.
