Just some quick questions:
Which ship is worth the money the most?
I want to rat as fast as possible - which ship is preferable?

Too many variables to give a exclusive answer.
Think about fittings for both and chose the one you deem better.
I use an armour tanked typhoon right now - and a shield tanked tempest 1 month ago.

Phoon, drones missles and utility slots, what more could you want? Not to mention its faster and more agile.

Typhoon does not have slots for tractor/salvager.
I know alot of people don't salvage their wrecks. But it can be worth it.

I use a phoon with 4 torp launchers, 5 heavy drones. The remaining 4 highslots are great for tractor/salvagers - and a cloak...
Of cause, damage could be better with some guns fitted, but its really not needed for ratting. It can tank/kill the 1.8 mill spawns quite easy.

Phoon with Torps, drones, and a armor tank. Don't bother with projectiles in the highs.

typhoon has room for a tractor and 3 salvagers. No point in fitting guns since torps and drones melt npc bs

Typhoon, better tank and ability to focus on a single damage type. Ratting is a brute force activity that doesn't benefit from the subtle strengths of the Tempest (ie midslots, speed, fall-off, and utility highslots).

ac's use up to much ammo to be worth the time imo.
my phoon setup against guristas:
4 arb siege, tractor, 3x slavager
100mn ab t2, 3x cap II
LARII, 3x hardener II, CPR II, 2 bcu II
10 vespa II, 5 medium ecm drones, 5 hornet II
medium drones seem to be 'faster' than wasps or ogres since they get to the target to kill it faster, get back faster, and with my skills actually do pretty close to the same damage as a t1 ogre or wasp.
