I have had issues with new version before but they were always resolved with a re-installation. THIS time the file fails the download every time I try to do so - in both Firefox and Chrome.

Damn, CREST data integration and the whole set of new features and displayed informatons? You'd better call it 4.0 or I don't know what you are planning for that one

I restarted and got the new file to download from Github ...
then uninstalled the old file manually, and ran the new file after that ... NOTE: I had to hit "repair" on the install screen for the new file when it came up
edit: it was working on the repaired version briefly, but then crashed as I tried uploading my bpo's again, and now wont load and am back to the original messages about an unhandled exception
it was working until I plugged in my character api ... which should be noted is a corp api, as I am CEO
also, when it tries to load it now says version 3.2 btw

edit: a buddy of mine I've coached on this program reports his is working fine ... the crest download is much slower, but all is working for him... |

If anyone is having issues with the CREST ("CCP Data") updates, send me your EVEIPH.log file and I'll see if I can figure out the issue. The work around is to go into settings and to check 'Turn off SVR updates' to use the manufacturing tab and you'll have to download prices from EVE Central.

Im getting wildly profitable builds too atm ... I think my own usages are not getting factored in ... I've got over three times as many items building over 1 mil IPH according to the program than I did yesterday, and many more than normal times
might just have a quick look see on it.

2: All facilities have 0.000 usage. The BPs need to get updated in the API. I've seen that be slow sometimes. Did you try (after saving your bps) resetting and reloading them?
On facility usage, try this first: Go to Data -> reset data -> then reset all CREST prices. Then run the update facilities and average prices.
Let me know how that goes.
On the errors several were having on the CREST updates, it was due to CCP providing an EU version of the file to your computers that use the EU decimal system (000,00) and when I tried to insert, it went haywire. The fact it didn't provide a good error message made it that much harder to track down.
Get the latest update and let me know how it goes. I know a lot of people wanted CREST functionality and it's pretty nice to use finally so let me know what you think. Also, it will be slow if you try to do update prices on every item listed. It's as fast as I can get it since I'm limited by CCP's thresholds. Do it in chunks if you need to and I'll keep the EVE Central option there as well.

The usage thing got sorted after I reseted all the data. This however did not fix the blueprint issue. I even made a new API key, but I still only get my old ones marked as "owned". I had this issue on the previous version as well, where all the blueprints were visible under "Assets", but not marked as owned in the blueprint manager. |

I was just thinking "it would be so nice if there was a little market browser in IPH" as the new version started up. And there it was. Along with percent profit in the blueprint tab. Beautiful. I spent the last half hour hovering, double and right clicking to see what all you've added.
Thanks very much. |

CREST is perfectly working, Manufacturing List is not crashing any longer, BPO list should be all right (not 100% sure about that yet though).
Also, dat backward/forward button in the Blueprint tab is beyond gloriousness!!
I'm still messing around with the CREST prices though because I'm having some weird output. Like items I was building for a pretty nifty profit are shown as "not profitable" at all or with a way lesser margin than I reckon they have. Probably using "percentile sell" is the best way to get things done even if it's so slow that once it finishes downloading them one should re-run it coz prices might have changed in the meanwhile |

Love the new changes! One question though. The CREST market downloads don't seem to provide percentile prices. If you select a percentile price in the Update Prices tab, it appears to chose the min sell or max buy instead. Is this intentional? |

Thanks for the great program that you've made. There's so many wonderful features available, but I have one request. Rather than buying minerals outright, I use IPH to calculate my requirements, then utilize another external website to calculate the compressed ore that I need to purchase. Of course, this is strictly dependent upon the requirements of the build, but I can easily figure out if I would rather purchase Compressed Veldspar or Compressed Dense Veldspar (as an example) based upon yield and current market price. I can make an educated decision on what's more cost-effective for me at that time.
Would it be possible to integrate this functionality?

I have to manually calculate the percentile for CREST prices and I'm not sure it's the same definition that others use? I think EVE Central uses something different than the top or bottom 5%. I basically find the 95% mark up or down depending and that's the percentile price. I'd appreciate input on if this is what people are expecting because this is what I think of when I think percentiles (and the accepted definition).

Bug issues/update issues
Previously, I had prior version to the newest release installed, and got the prompt for the update. When I attempted to update, I receive notification t"There was an error in the update. Program not updated. Download Corrupted."
I downloaded the file again from github, and attempted installation to no avail. I uninstalled, and re-installed the program, and received the same error message. I downloaded the binary files, and replaced them in the correct folder. When I restarted the program, I received the same notification that there was an update, and the same error message. I cancelled the update, and the program started as normal. When I go to the About tab, it shows version 3.2.5874.14059, yet when I view the Patch Notes, they're dated 1/30/16 for version 3.2.5873.19500.
I assume that I am running the correct version, and the version listed in the About tab was just an oversight, since the patch notes are current. Minerals to ore is something I'm working on for 3.3
Hmm, not sure but the version number you have is right. I just haven't updated the patch notes apparently. Sometimes you'll get a bad download for some reason but it shouldn't be a long standing issue. Does your version say testing at the top?

Awesome tool!
Couple questions/comments:
Why is the SVR different for the various Compared/Price Comparison options? Seems like, say, an Armor Explosive Hardener II should have the same SVR whether you build/buy, components, or raw material, no?
Also, when you export to a CSV, it seems like the "Total Items Sold" category exports the # with the commas still in there -- i.e. if the total items sold is 2,345, then that's what it puts in the CSV (instead of 2345 with no comma) and you get one cell with a 2 in it and one with 345 in it when you import the CSV into Excel.
Anyways, I had like a whole spreadsheet that I used to use for industry that I spent a ton of time updating with prices manually (and whenever the blueprint specs changed). Nice to see I don't need it anymore!

Morning,
Love the product been using it for years... Today I updated the new updates and now having issues with multiple runs.
Example: 1 Small Focused Beam Laser Raw Mat Cost (10/20) is 366,604.52 100 runs is 39,374,970 (30k Increase per gun) 1000 runs is 763,841,817 (almost double the actual build cost & Materials)
Basically the higher the runs its doubling and tripling what you actually need, same goes for a few other products.

The SVR will change because it uses time to build as part of the calculation. So you could build/buy something faster than raw materials. It's the total amount of stuff sold divided by the amount of stuff you can make in the time period (as selected in settings). If you make a lot quickly and it doesn't sell that fast, then you would have a lower SVR.
Thanks for the CSV note. I'll patch that today.
