One day maybe people will learn to not logout in Jita. Personally I have never been to jita in over a year.

Do you believe that CCP will ever address this issue? Or have they addressed it and failed for over a year?

Well duh it is Sunday. Never ever visit Jita on a Sunday, trying to log into Jita on a Sunday is an even bigger mistake.
Just leave it trying, you should get in eventually.

Why should CCP adress this issue? You should address this issue, you are creating the problem...
(In the past, they "addressed" another major trade hub yuli (or something, i'm to new to this game). It solved the problem alright, but another hub, Jita, was created. You can't change the mass market flocking of players.) _______

So CCP will never be able to accomplish the technological feat of 600-800 players in a system?

Funny as the responsible allways try to put the blame on someone else.. guess that is human nature.
Now, solve your problem your self and move out of Jita. Either that or accept that Jita is a lagfest and enjoy it .

Are you advocating a pop-up when logging out of Jita on Saturdays that says:
"WARNING Our servers are presently incapable of running the game in this system tomorrow. Please logout in another system if you wish to play the game tomorrow."

Know what. All you can do NOW, is accept that this is the way it is. If you believe that CCP isnt even bothering to solve it then you are mistaken.
But for now, DO NOT LOG OFF IN JITA

No, CCP will be able to accomplish the technological feat of 600-800 people some day (well in association with whatever company willing to created that kind of server), during fan fest they were talking about developing a supercomputer with IBM that would be able to break down a system on several CPU's.
However CCP can't be held responsible that once the game will run smooth with 600-800 people in system Jita will most likely be crowded with 1800 persons. ------- I usually spend some minutes writing a post, usually read it over, decide it doesn't really add anything useful to a conversation and I hit the cancel button. .....This time I didn't hit c |

People don't stop coming into Jita UNTIL it lags so it doesn't really matter does it?

These threads pop up every week, you don't NEED to go to Jita, so you save 1 million on that module, whatever, is it worth the time? Maybe.
You seem to think that CCP need to do something about it, when it is the occupants of Jita that should do something. 800+ people, all in one system, one area, doing stuff. It's going to lag simply due to technical restrictions. What solution do you have to stop it? You don't.
CCP can limit the amount of people going in, then people will make threads going 'HALP HALP I CANT GET INTO JITA IM STUCK IN A LINE' how does this differ from 'HALP HALP I CAN'T LOGIN'. Just don't go to Jita at peak hours, or don't go at all. Especially don't log out there and expect to log back in during peak hours without having to wait. _______________

Yeah, it's not like they're working with IBM to create one of the largest supercomputers in Europe or anything! It's obvious that CCP doesn't care about Jita or lag or it's players! I've also heard they cheat and eat babies. ---------------- Tarminic - 29 Million SP in pink Forum Warfare |

CCP are not the only company that do not highlight the bad parts of their product and/or service. Seriously if you don't like it so much then do something about it, stay out of Jita or give up the game, we don't need to hear your rants, infact the only thing you are coming out with is 'LOL CCP DIDNT TELL US JITA LAGZ NOT MY FAULT' well guess what, it is. _______________

"Talk is cheap."
Actions, however, speak louder than words, and according to this thread Jita has been so bad for so long that some players haven't been there in over a year.

So don't talk about the problem. Just give up or avoid it.
Do you apply the same philosophy to your car when it has a problem? Or your family and friends?
