you may think, why extenders, but i say it would be the better choice. the ship already gets % to resistance so stacking might happen. Its more about damage with this fit i threw together. thoughts? |

Hmmm, here are some things you may want to consider: - T2 blasters! >:-) - You don't have a cap booster on an active tank. That small nos is not going to power it. - Resist or hybrid rigs, seriously. Without a cap booster you *definitely* want to go resists or cap safeguards. - 2 TE / 2 MFS is probably a better choice than 3/1, - Consider a DC II for the extra shield resists. - Large boosters are pretty weak. IIRC you can shoe-horn on a named XL with some cap safeguards for a much improved tank. Furthermore, without crystals + blue pill + tengu booster you're probably better off with a buffer tank. - Don't forget to overheat your shield booster. You really need maximum cap efficiency.
That's prolly enough for now. :)

Your tank is gonna be mighty weak a large booster and no invuln, but your gank is pretty sketchy without the web. Its either the web or the invuln - your choice. IIRC you're best off dropping to ions for an XL booster.

You are almost better off spending a few days training to Galle cruiesrs to unlock the brutix..
That being saide my standard Ferox Fit:
2x Mag Stabs 1x TE 1x DCU
1x 10mn MWD 1x Sram/disruptor 1x Web 1x LSE 1x Invul
6x Neutrons 1x Small Vamp
2x Extenders 1x Poly/Thruster
5x Hobgob II's
I should point out I have maxed skills for nav, fitting, and gun ranges. The trick to the Ferox is to get close, and use your extra optimal. You really need T2 medium Hybrids because Null M gives you out to 20kmish range for applying DPS with an 11km optimal. Even Void gives you a 6km optimal compared to faction AM being about 4km (3.9 and 5.8 with my skills/fit) The Poly or Thruster is your taste, but you need the speed to close.
Void puts you at 500+ DPS with decent gunnery without heat. With heat you are closer to 650 and a heated speed of 1500ish. If you can close and web you can put out decent DPS with a 65k EHP buffer. |

You're EFTing with the All Vs profile, aren't you? With all 5s, that fit still needs a 4% implant, and I kinda doubt that you have all 5s in the relevant skills on that char.
I would suggest dropping one of the rigs for an ACR rig, that should give you the needed grid (change the cap booster to named if you're still tight) and the third one doesn't help that much anyways because of stacking penalties. You might also want to consider cap capacity rigs too, but I'm not positive about the tradeoff there. |

It's a lulzboat that isn't going to strike fear into the heart of anyone, but with 60k ehp and 640ish dps using void it can punish someone laughing hard enough to let it get into web/scram range (which is going to be the difficult part as it can hardly break 1k ms/). |

I keep dicking around with the Ferox in EFT and I disagree with using an X-L booster. It just takes up way too much space and it's cap use is stupidly over the top while not providing that much more tank over a large booster because the large booster can actually use tank rigs rather than shield boost capacitor rigs.
The large booster lets you fit a medium nos, bigger guns, etc.
I think a Ferox can be close to as effective as a Brutix.

My brutix still gets more tank, more speed, more dps, better capacitor but this would be fun I guess, probably about as good as a Cyclone but Winmatar are still better for some unexplained reason right? HAI GUISE |

I dont have EFT here, but I am pretty sure on any blastership, if you want to fit a viable active tank and guns larger than electrons, you need to fit an ACR. Personally, I have an active tank fetish, so Electrons are fine with me in small gang fights.
I dont fly Ferox personally (brutix FTW), but with its bonuses, 2 TE and 1 or 2 MFS, I suspect you can fit buffer + neutrons + the new null, and it should hit pretty well out to long point range. It might be my next goal once I get my cyclone skilling topped off. |
