This is getting really annoying... Imagin the situation, your running level 4 missions, you've spent the last 40minutes killing a room when someone jumps in and begins salvaging your wrecks. There's nothing you can do about it, you can attack them (else you say 'welcome concord') and they dont agro!
If someone steals your items you can blow them up, if someone salvages your wrecks there's nothing you can do about it!. I'm not saying prevent people from salvaging wrecks that arn't theres but surly they should get an agro counter for it??
Anyone else in agreeance?

I've only had this happen when I've turned the mission over and then go and salvage.
Generally it is hard to find someones wrecks in a mission/deadspace.
As people have pointed out in previous threads, you may have killed them but the wreck does not belong to you. -----------------------------------------------

Yay! With one 9 page thread on this issue we certainly needed another thread of this nonsense starting.
Short answer: No.
Long answer: Just move to a quieter system where it is not worth the salvagers time probing people out. If the time investment (risk) isn't worth the reward, then you don't find people salvaging. Sure the agents in quieter systems are not as higher quality, but for the lower risk of not having salvagers (and less lag) you get slightly less rewards.

You don't own the wrecks. You might think you do, and you might want to, but you don't. Simple as that.
And you should look in one of the 100 other "wreck theft" threads.. same answers, same whines.

if you have a 3 room mission, run the first two, then salvage before you do the last one. there's no way anyone will find the slavage before you then.

To be fair and honest, then you shouldn't be able to "own" cans either. Imagine the "outrage" of the people, if mission loots, jetcans and other stuff became "free for all".
