I was just wondering if there was even such a thing as a corporation or alliance in lowsec that actively encourages trade in their region by shutting down gate camps and allowing people passage through.
Or do all the corps shoot anything non-blue that moves.
Thanks.

Absolutely. Just send some eve mails to some triumvirate guys beforehand so they can safely escort you to their stations. Neutral haulers are always welcome in 0.0, I think I'm speaking for a lot of alliances here.

The problem is this...
Many people join 0.0 alliances on the expectation that their alliance buddies cover their back, and allow them to trade, npc mine etc.
However if enough people join an alliance expecting this to happen then noone ends up doing it as everyone expects others to do it and not themselves.
If you go into a 0.0 alliance with the attitude that YOU will help out busting gatecamps, attacking intruders ets, and others in the alliance take a similar attitude, the alliance is likely to do well.

The Church work tirelessly to protect the entrances to Great Wildlands through Egbinger to B-VIP and from Khabi into 7Q-8Z2. As a result, the core systems of E02-KH and M-MD3B are now thriving trade hubs to which we would like to welcome all law-abiding traders.

Only CVA my friend.
Bruce has a limited NRDS policy in syndicate (NRDS at the pipe, NBSI at claimed systems).
Problem with this is that unless said alliance do the 23/7 camping, there will aways be hostiles and piwats camping the main pipes. ex.: one of the gates from empire to syndicate, its almost 23/7 camped, we clean it, and as soon as we leave, they get back to their thing -- "Tackling you in the system next door"

Don't believe him. Bruce is engaged in a propaganda campaign to attract all the good traders. Matter of fact, all alliances welcome neutral haulers, as others in this thread said.

Most matari tribes living in Derelik, Molden Heath, etc low sec regions use NRDS (NBSI just in war zones like Providence) and there are free trade zones projects going on there.

Just noticed this thread, which is spot on for what i do alittle of. I currently dont have alot of RL time to join a pvp alliance for fun, so currently im working up some assets to start providing highgrade goods to 0.0 npc regions especially without bumping the prices to much. Its alot of fun manouvering your transport ship trying to stay alive long enough to unload :P
But if any alliances which to restock any holes in their supplies feel free to eve mail me, and ill see if i cant help bring you what you want. Currently mostly do mods and smaller items, but i can provide ships to outskirt highesec with freighter, any straight trades or fees we can discuss if you dont want it seeded in open NPC station marked.

i heard the reckoning like to sit on 0.0 entrances all around eve space. Im sure if you work out a deal with them you will cover 75% of your problem as they dont seem to do much else.

Cool, thanks for the replies. My friends were saying that it was unlikely to find anyone that does this. It's nice to know that neutral haulers are actually appreciated by some alliances, even though as someone mentioned, that it's still not completely safe from gate campers sneaking in. But If people can get by most of the time, it could even be profitable.
If there are any other alliances or Corps that are Hauler friendly please continue to post. I'll be adding your names to my reference sheet so I don't forget anyone.
It sounds like even with the right connections it would be a bad idea to come into 0.0 in an indie, so I'll have to train up my transport. I'm glad I asked though. I was thinking that the areas that were friendly to neutral haulers might even make it safe enough to come in a freighter. *blush*
not that I have one of those yet either :)

Several 0.0 alliances do allow neutrals to travel through some of their space, and even a handful encourage trade of some sort. The truth is, though, that many alliances rely on themselves plus their friends for creating a market. ---

What does NRDS and NBSI stand for? Thanks for enlightening my ignorance. :)
