Lately i have felt that sisi has degenerated alot, there is a lack of respect. I am helping out whit bug hunting and testing game balance, i should not have to take beeing flamed for testing odd setups then.
other rule violations has also becomed more common, its quite often ive been attacked outside of ffa, or got my pod attacked. i know i am flashy red and got an employment list that might attract people to take pot shots at me, but when i am playing on sisi i am not "in character"
i would like to ask the bug hunters to show the rules more and point out that sisi is not equal tranq, playing on sisi is not a right, its a privilege.

CCP should put in a SISI tutorial that players must complete.
Mission 1: Read this beacon Mission 2: Read this beacon...
Mission 10: Read the ****ing beacon!

heres some examples from this morning, all this happend whitin 30 minutes from loggign into sisi,
first some guy calling me a ***** for not beeing able to catch my nano sac in ffa, telling me he was going to come and pod me on tranq, then he tries to pod me at station but i docked before that.
then some brutally clever guy calling me a ****** for not managing to warp scramble him in ffa, then later flaming me for my harbinger tank when im just out testing dps, and when pointing out the rules for him he calls me a dummy.
i have not petitioned thoose guys becasue i am genrally a forgiving guy. however whit stuff like this happening basicly everytime i am on sisi nowdays i am starting to rethink my character and thinking maybe i should become a really unpleasant unforgiving guy instead.

Just petition them. They will get quick and permanent vacation from SiSi and you can do whatever you are doing without getting harassed by people who cant read the rules.

Well, if someone tried to podkill you on SiSi - let him! That's the fastest and most effective way to get rid of them, since CCP will first restore your Clone if you lost any skill training, and secondly it will most likely permaban that player from SiSi since he podkilled you on purpose. --- This is your Captain speaking. Don't petition people on Singularity. That doesn't work. Try get in contact with a Dev or a bug hunter. They are usually in FD-MLJ or sometimes in the "moveme" channel. Sending me an eve-mail with timestamped log will work too.

would have to sit and make petitions all day then whit the amount of rule violations i've seen lately on sisi.
it should not have to be like this. people should read the rules. maybe a big popp up whit the rules listed when you logg in would be a good idea.
another reason why i dont petition every rule violation i se is becasue bug hunters are not game masters, they should not have to sitt and bann people all day when they got other important things to do

It is rather irritating when every other person in FFA is 'testing' a fully-passive near-unbreakable shieldtank with no points or web, then whines and whines at you when you simply warp off ..oh how I love SiSi -----

I used to help out ironing out bugs too..
Joining up every time CCP staff was asking for some help testing something. Now we got gangs of Maruders/logistic ships camping FFA.
me: 'Can please only 1 shoot as I'm testing my tank?' some dude: 'Lolz, this is testserver and we can wtfBBQ you with as many as we want.. noob!'
And the other day I was lighting a cyno next door too FD- to test jump-portals. 45 sec after I light up the cyno some ******* in a raven come and shoot my cyno-alt. I told him I was testing jump-portals and he goes: 'This is 0.0 and there is no rules in 0.0.. adapt!'.
With people like that testing new content, no wonder we get the 'balancing' we see accross the board in the upcoming patch.

It could happen that some player are not familar with all rules or attack by accident in the wrong pocket. I also did that some time ago and received really bad and annoying crap-talk. What I didn't understand on SISI where everything is frakking for free. If players start to grief there just report those to the GM's and they get kicked for sure.

an other easy way to contract the Devs to help you with such problems is the IRC chat, channel #eve-chaos. Especially Mephysto and CCP Oneiromancer are around there, they are a part of the team which defines the rules for sisi, but you can talk to every Dev there and we will help you out.

So long as it's Sisi related.... There are some helpful players in this channel also but don't expect the devs to help you with TQ petitions or stuff like that (unless u can bribe them with Bree and Cookies). -- eve-guides.com Includes all about POSs, outposts, tech II production, item database and much much more. |

Edited by: Kain De''Stroi on 26/11/2007 14:17:28 #eve-chaos = good place, sorry i havnt been in there for awhile, i will improve on that.
oh and i would like to add for thoose players that think im posting this just becasue i cant handle getting flamed - im a pirate and a former bob member, flames and hatemails are something im pretty used to
no im posting this becasue there seems to be this missconception among new sisi visitors that sisi is just like the rest of eve and that you can behave just like you do on tranq or on the forums, but sisi are for testing purpose only, and as i posted above the bug hunters are not GM's, they got more important things to do than to babysitt your ass while you are there.
so please show them and your fellow players who are trying to help them some respect while you are there, and strangle your flame and podding urge untill you are back on TQ.

I do feel SISI is getting worst, I expect to be shot at when I warp to a randome area which isnt ffa.
A few things which have happen to me.. I afked my way to FD, when I got back to my computer I was in a pod. A few days ago having a PURE. fleet snip me at a planet for no reason Having randome Caldari recons jam you while having a 1v1 with someone, then cloaking thinking you never noticed them. Yea well I did!
People smacking each other in local, even smacking the Devs, and people shooting each other outside the stations never seems stops.

Unfortunately, people have to be taught to follow the rules. The only true way to teach anyone anything, is through pain. The only way humans can learn. The only "pain" you can feel on SISI, is a ban.

My favorite insult I've gotten on SiSi was when someone literally *****ed at me for 20 minutes about how using a web and orbiting him = running away.
Made me smile when he got so frustrated.

I think all the advertising about Sisi now running the Tranquility engine has attracted more people to try the test server.
This is a good thing for testing but unfortunately appears to have brought a few morons accross too, morons who aren't there to test and haven't read the rules.
I too was attacked outside station and whilst I can't be bothered to engage in it, I have witnessed constant arguments going on in local.
I think it needs clamping down on, much use of the banstick

Has one of our diplomats contacted you regarding this issue yet?
The thread is under discussion on our forums, everyone agrees that such behavior is unacceptable from a member of our alliance and the general consensus is to have a diplomat contact you to get information on this member.
Please note that I do NOT speak in an official capacity for BRUCE, and please don't post his/her name publically yet, wait for one of our diplomats to contact you. If that does not happen soon, please EVEMail me and I'll figure out who to refer you to. ------------ Ezra Cornell

If this is true, it's a sad situation for testing. I hope GM etc will enforce the rules sternly (I secretly hope they will monitor this forum to remove all unnecessary hyperredondant uninteresting topics too...)
