It took me two weeks just to get my Ares back. Be patient. They'll get to it some day.

Look at it this way, they are researching the problem and to make sure they don't screw up with their response to you. ________________________

Edited by: Arvald on 26/11/2007 21:03:22 Edited by: Arvald on 26/11/2007 21:03:01 1. LOST SHIPS
Please note that the insurance payout received when a ship is lost will be subtracted from a playerÆs wallet if the ship is reimbursed.
Ships may be lost during combat with non-player (NPC) pirates or police forces, player-vs-player (PVP) combat or by self-destruction.
1. Ships lost in NPC combat may be replaced in cases where a bug has been verified through GM investigation as the cause. Such reimbursement would only be done at the discretion of a GM. 2. Ships lost during PVP combat may be replaced only in cases where a bug has been verified as the cause of the loss. Such reimbursement would only be done after an investigation and at the discretion of a GM. 3. Losses caused due to disconnection as a direct result of a server node drop or an unannounced server downtime may be reimbursed pending investigation by, and at the discretion of, a GM. Ships lost due to lag or non-server related disconnection will not be reimbursed. 4. Ships destroyed by use of the "self destruct" feature, whether intentionally or accidentally, cannot be reimbursed.
NOTE: Items looted from a wreck following the destruction of a ship cannot be replaced. Should your ship be destroyed, we advise you to seek out and collect your belongings as quickly as possible. jsut incase you did not know --------------------------- Im in your forums derailing your threads

If 2 weeks is the norm, CCP really needs to work on the customer support side a little bit. If my ship is destroyed do to a Game flaw, I should have it back in no less than a few days. I guess they have different standard in Iceland or something. They are making me feel like im being ignored. And for a game that we(as in subscribers) pay to play, customer support should be a top priority. Just my opinion.

As for the user agreement, Im aware its at the discretion of the GM's. However, that shouldnt mean they should put it off. And as far as them taking the time to research it, fine, they should at least notify you that we are looking into it asap. Instead of them not letting you know and giving you the impression they don't care!

The number of petitions submitted in a day exceeds the number of GMs available to work each day. Each GM can work on quite a few petitions a day, true, but there's a nice stack of petitions waiting ahead of yours. Whining in the forums will not magically erase the queue. Putting in another petition about the first petition will only further clog the system, and won't be read until after the first petition gets looked at.

Yeah good luck with that. Come back when your petition has been open for six weeks.
Quoting what I said in a previous thread about this:
Originally by: Nihova
I'll be sure to agree with the fanboys when I get closure on the reimbursement petition I filed 6 weeks ago.
Unfortunately, the GMs tend to not know the intricacies of the game, are likely given a 10 minute overview of what the 'mighty logs' can show them when they get the job, and have little or no programming knowledge with which to back up that judgement. If you push them into using either their initiative or their common sense, the petition system grinds to a halt.
Although in fairness, I filed a stuck petition when a jumbridge I was trying to use was bugged, and I was moved to the target system in under 20 seconds of hitting "File Petition".

Idjit.
The reason it takes so long is that some people petition every loss they have, no matter what the reason.
Being that you have two petitions open right now, it seems that you're one of them.
I hope it takes two months for them to say no. _______________________________ I need new voices in my head, To speak my secret evils with. I need new lovers in my bed, To be my friends and special pets. |

Well, I'm so glad your so sure about yourself. I on the other hand have 2 open petitions because I lost items due to bugs. I only have ever created 5 petitions in my years of game play(these 2 included). So, sorry to have let you down!

my sec status in my character sheet show -1.9 as a result i should be able to jump into 1.0 systems, upon doing so my ship is immediately destroyed by Concord. I have Screenshot proof that I have -1.9 sec status and for some reason still am destroyed. Also, I use a mac sometimes and this particular occasion I experienced a lockup to come back to a very destroyed ship. Bugs or my fault, personally I lean toward bugs!

you do realize pointing things out on the forums usually yields the same result as filing a petition right? No one cares =) ________________________________

Thats where your wrong, Im sure there are countless number of other persons out there who have open petitions some going on for longer periods of time. Just cause they don't post doesn't mean they don't care. Your statement alone proves you care enough to post.... perhaps for different reasons, but none the less u care.

Jesus Christ, reading all your posts is like pouring acid on my eyes.
"YOUR" is not interchangable with "YOU'RE". "YOU'RE" is a contraction of "YOU ARE". "LOOSE" is what your mother might be, but you don't "LOOSE" ships, you "LOSE" them. These are not terribly complicated aspects of the English language.
So please, a little more consideration before you needlessly use up a little more of the internet.

Hate to burst your bubble on this one, but with the sec status rounding up (look at character sheet and see if it is -1.95) your loss will not be reimbursed.

Il save you waiting for another few weeks, both petitions will not result in a refund due to. Incident 1, This will be put down to user error as your sec status was probably as mentioned, down to your sec status actually being below -1.9. The screenshot you have submitted does not show the sec status below 1 decimal point, therefor prooves nothing unfortunatly. Incident 2, i myself have petitioned things like this and if it was your system that locked up, the events which resulted in you being in a pod where not down to the server, therefor not refundable.
sorry to burst your bubble dude, but you wont be refunded i dont think.

no, you are wrong. If you are -2.0 sec status or below and enter a 1.0 sec status system concord will fire on your ship. Each security status system has its own limits on the sec status allowed to fly in its space before firing.
