Trust me, ive played wow, and they have ghey colors. Im very disappointed with this. Im a gal spec'd pilot, and now i get to look forward to flying ships with CYAN! I always thought EVE had an mature community. Well there are exeptions to everything. Personally I think the cyan fits the Gallente background quite well.

Don't worry about all the resistance to change, there's always different groups when it comes to evolving - Pioneers take things forwards and the late adapters follow with whining and crying about every little change. CCP's art direction is just superb, please keep the same direction!

For instance all the black caldari ships have turned into greyish with red striping (tbh i think they now suck looks wise) Then again the camopaint caldari ships look FFing awesome! the Hawk for instance just looks.. military! And the Manticore... OMG THE MANTICORE!!! IT'S SOO PURTY NOW!!! Will take me a bit to get used to all the finer details u now have, but i think once i've played with these graphics for a bit i will be wondering how i managed to play this long with the old ones CCP, let us pay the online shop with Direct Debit!!! You really need to fly the new ships though - the lighting changes everything and the colours slide across the ships like liquid metal. Static pics just dont do them justice. For example I took one look at the pilgrim in station and though 'yuk! - I then took it out into space and suddenly it looked amazing dark with ebil red lights with the plating catching the sun and glowing a burnished gold. To me there should have been someone higher up the chain saying "that's not bad but you can do better, try to keep to the races' and specific ship's heritage a bit more". I's like some modern car designer... you know the type: a skinny, young designer who is an avid MAC user with thick, black, rectangular glasses who wants to modernise everything he sees. And then totally fails to translate the heritage and history of that brand into the new car because he simply doesn't understand those concepts. Ofcourse the new graphics are an improvement but they simply don't hit base well enough imo.
