ú11 for UK $15 for US Ç19.95 for euro's
since the strength of the pound is so much more than the euro and dollar seems were getting the jip alittle. Thought the price for the UK would be more around the ú7.50 - ú8 mark.
Main land Euros should be around the Ç15.30 a month for those guys if the american price is anything to go by...

Same. Only an idiot would be paying by subscription in pounds at the moment. Maybe if CCP double's the US charge it would be worth subscribing again.

Edited by: Imperator Jora''h on 28/11/2007 14:00:14 I thought CCP said this had to do with the VAT or something. Basically CCP gets the same amount in their pockets when you pay them wherever you live and the added cost to Europeans was to cover taxes.
I could be wrong about that but I seem to recall this discussed before and the answer being something like that in which case CCP is not ripping off its European players. You just need to take it up with your governments.
EDIT: I would be curious in a comparison of subscription fees for other online games when in various countries. Does WOW cost more in Europe than the US? No idea myself but would be interesting if anyone knows.

*quick bad mental maths*
The UK pays the equivalent of US$22. VAT is 17.5%, which is a little shy of GBú2, or US$4. That leaves US$3 unaccounted for.
I think. Correct me if I'm wrong. ------

Your government decided to increase the value of your currency, therefor you pay more.
The world is not required to change its prices every time the UK raises interest rates.

I generally think there raking in more money from the UK than any other country from eve.
Pound is very strong and i believe theres more UK players than any other as far as my experience has been (ofc not including the chinese server)
Doesnt really anwser your question, but hey you can get ETC's cheaper, but it is an ass ache.
Although you can have direct debit on a bank card now i didnt know that. Seems UK banks use a system and debit card that most companies treat as if it were a credit card- nice bit of information i found out recently. ------ [Video] Forever Pirate 4

I'd be really surprised if there were more UK than US players. There is a lot of both to be sure but still willing to bet the US far out numbers any other single country. Wouldn't be surprised if more than half of EVE players were American.
Would be interesting for CCP to post the break down.

I'd actually put my money on Germans being the biggest nationality in EVE. Then probably USA in at #2, and UK a probable third. ------

I'd pay an extra 5 bucks if the cluster was relocated to New York.

I'm sure if someone were to tip off the Royal Tax service, or whatever it is the UK, someone would be counting... and people would be going to jail .

Well, on one hand it has been mentioned a lot of times that CCP charges equal dollars to pounds for quite some time. On the other hand I was half asleep when I posted that, my apologies.

i'm no expert, but i'm pretty sure it'd cost more than $5 to move the cluster to New York.
