Oh anyway, let's keep it real, ISS still sucks and this story is giving us a lot of amusement. It's even more amusing because it's all propaganda, since no one ever considered ISS an actual fighting force sided with BoB. Strategically speaking, it just means that you have to send that guy to RISE for another pep talk on the topic: "How to defeat evil ISS gankers: a lecture".

Official statement from the ISS CEO.
Recently, some trouble was stirred and **** was piling up around ISS. Many of you probably remember ISS acting as a neutral entity and creating something new in MMO's - looking from COAD perspective it's prehistoric age to most of the current EVE-Online player base. The situation and goals of the alliance today are very different... today we pretty much just want to shoot stuff :-)
In the south ISS have been at war constantly for almost a year starting with hostilities between ISS and IAC. For that reason ISS was slowly but surely pushed towards GBC, and ISS has contributed in many battles since then with GBC.
However, watching the GBC crumble under the onslaught of a better organized foe has been increasingly painful these past months. The last straw was when ISS docking rights to BOB stations was removed without discussion, warning or indeed for us without an ounce of coherent reasoning. Eve is a game of trust, and we find ours shattered as a result of SirMolle's actions.
Therefore, ISS will no longer fight on either side. From today, we turn a page in our history. ISS has reset standings to all entities in Eve, and we will continue to operate a NBSI policy.
If you wish to discuss standings with us, contact Count TaSessine on EU time or Serena Hennessy on US time.
Flame away
Count TaSessine
Apart from your NBSI policy any plans for the future? New territories... space caravans etc?

That's still more ships than BoB brought to help defend RISE.

So you mean that the big bunch of alts that make up ISS and the alliance as a whole which is lead by another alt puts up an act, to make it like as if they frantically try to sever the ties to BOB so they may be able to keep making money for their mains in the future?
The minute BOB blows ISS completely out of the water I'll believe it, but my guess it that this won't happen.

My best advice: Find a niche and a way to be unique. ISS was always the most interesting when it wasn't just another run-of-the-mill alliance.
Perhaps as mercenary war industrialists? The majority of 0.0 warfare is non-pew pew. POS spamming and POS maintaince to the highest bidder. Or maybe munitions stockpiling. Team up with a PvP merc alliance to be their logistics subcontrator. Or think of better ideas..
Good luck ISS.

Wow, nice job ISS.
Gotta tell ya unlike a lot of goons I always thought that the ISS ideal was good. Too bad you didn't stick to it, it gave "hundreds of bored goons" gates to camp though which was fun I had a great time back then how bout you?
