if you are in a one person corporation and the tax is 100%
after buying isk your wallet is billions in the negative
does the 100% tax go to the corp wallet and allow someone to cheat the system by trading on the market and buying items with corp money?

Not really cheating the system, more using the system.
You'd have to be in the corp before hand, or get someone else to make it for you then join....

Always satisfying to know that yet another cheating S.o.B. got wtfpwned for billions of ISK.
Still hopefully now you've called attention to this, CCP will close that loophole.

ive never bought isk before but it did occur to me as something that can be planned in advanced since ccp always just takes isk away on the first offense even though i think they should always ban the account permanently

So the plan is to prepare yourself to work up from negative billions, so that you can buy ISK to avoid working up from low positive ISK?

Yeah, doesn't really make sense. If you're going to buy ISK anyways, you're hoping to keep the ISK. Why plan on working up from a negative balance? Why not just work yourself up from a positive balance to a more positive balance?

so. you want the corp to get all the isk in taxes, so ccp cant take them away?.. lol. why would anyone do that?, and ain't there a limit on corp taxes? to 25% or something like it.
and i think ccp have some brains, and will track your isk, and take it from your corp, and set your wallet in minus.
ohh, and ccp can see who your an alt off, and what other accounts you have. so guess they will keep an eye out for you now..

Theres much better things to spend RL cash on than iskies, think of all the things you can buy/do with Dollars/Euros/Pounds now compare that with what you can get with Isk...

below average intelligence detected from most replies in this thread
where does it say i want to buy isk? i hate isk sellers and buyers
macrointel anyone?
ccp should fix this issue in case anyone here missed it ill restate
loser buys isk loser uses isk to get faction fit cap ship ccp makes a wallet negative loser is in a corp that has 100% tax so all his ratting and mission rewards go to the corp and he does not need any money in his personal wallet
loser has now got isk and the punishment has done nothing to him

last i checked, player donations and market transactions dont get taxed anyway, so there is no exploit

All he is saying that if somebody was to buy ISK (he didn't say he bought ISK or that he's preparing to) and if that player ends up holding a character with negative wallet balance (he didn't say his wallet was in negative), he or she can still earn money through ratting or running missions by putting the character in a corp of its own with an alt that has access to the wallet, and setting 100% tax rate and let the alt collect the ISK earned from bounties and buy things for the ISK buyer character. Not that someone would do this on purpose, but if you didn't know that ISK buying is illegal and got pwned by GMs, this is what players can theoretically do to earn ISK with the affected character to buy things rather than make up their negative wallet balance. Is this not clear or something?
Not really an exploit or loop hole because you might as well mine with this character or do a variety of other things that won't actually directly put money into its wallet to make up for the negative balance.

He isn't talking about player donations and market transactions.
1. Player buys isk 2. Player spends isk 3. Player has isk taken away, leaving him with negative balance 4. Player sets his corp tax to 100%, so all mission rewards and rat bounties go into corp wallet
This way the player has access to all the isk he earns, and can even buy and sell on market using the corp wallet, effectively sidestepping the "punishment" of having his ill-gotten isk removed. _____________________________________________

I think I know what you're getting at. If you have a large negative standing, you can just start your own corp, put tax to 100% and still be able to spend the money you earn. However you'll lose time bonuses from missions (or rather they get dunked in the bottomless pit that is your wallet). You can just use corp wallet to buy the stuff you want. Though I don't think it'd be very profitable at first, not untill your wallet is in the plus again anyway. Cause you'd be stuck to your own corp untill then.

Maybe then the punishment should also include bumpage into an NPC corp. If that is possible for the GMs to do. As well, institute a 100 ISK "Paperwork Filing Fee" CONCORD charge for joining a corporation.

Edited by: Plutoinum on 30/11/2007 12:01:01 tax is on bounties and mission rewards, not on how much there is in your wallet, so unless you find a rat with negative bounty or such a mission with negative rewards, you won't get money from your corp.
Besides that the rat or the agent would get the money of the corp and not you (with 100% tax, with less tax you pay the agent out of your own wallet ofc) Not really worth to do missions or go ratting for that.
