After yesterdays failed fleet encounter in null I had to make my own "great escape" from camped and bubbled Doril to a safe heaven of high sec. My clone was worth more than twice the battleship I lost there, so there was no other option.
Now sitting in a cozy capsule, in stealth bomber, in high sec, counting treasures and blueprints I took from a wreck of unfortunete traveller I encountered floating freely in a void in low sec. Lot of booster blueprints, some faction ammo, modules, salvage, even some dirty galantean holoreels. I am definitely satisfied with the final outcome of the day. |

I just done site in low sec where pirates in crows tried to obliterate everyone jumping thru the system, tried to scan me, I spend something like 1 hour doing expedition site, making safespots, warping out when they pushed sister combat probes on me, kiting elite cruisers, doing drones micromanagement, pushing scan on directional scanner every 5 seconds, and this stupid commander dropped clean air.

You cant avoid sorrow in a life. But you can add some joy. Strange, i remember trying on this new gunner jacket and I noticed something very strange when I made it into CQ. I did not spend anything on it, and its gone now, when I tried to see if it is there in character creator.
You have to autopilot and when you have CQ on, and the store open with previev of your character, the clothing on you will automatically move on to your body in CQ.

We have a guy here in Poland, he writes on his blog about situations like this, and he knows how banks are functioning. Its just a bunch of greedy, overdedicated to rip your last penny bastards that tell others in their offices to rip the money from their clients, every procedure is crafted for that. What bank fears is the mass leaving because of their lies being exposed and reputation destroyed, so its basicly the same principles like in politics, psychopaths here and there too. And they are very fast in making the job done very well, no fooling around, if their small "ripping your mony away" practices and tricks are publicly discussed in internet, on his blog. He alone was sued on multiple ocasions by banks, but he never lost in court. When there is a lot of money involved however, for a lot of people, they still have balls to go to court and spill their psychopothic **** there usually losing the case. Why they are doing it if they lose? Because of the money, they have it, but it doesn't mean that is enough to win in court, this they can't understand obviously.

First and fooremost, it's an architectural horror in a peacufull countryside full of great, natural views in mountains. Guy was trying to imitate this - proper looking building in that style.

Think about it in this way, People doing exploration, searching for treasure. In a big station, full of labyrinthine halls where frigate could fly in, there is treasure hidden somewhere. You can't see it, but the sensors indicate that it is there somewhere in a bush of bended metal and wires. What you have to do, is to take the road inside, past the rogue drones that are waiting outside and inside, cloacked, same as this treasure. Some mystery and some danger, and you get a hidden treasure.
Something else than your regular rogue drone asteroid infestation 3/10.

It sounds great - in theory. Practice is CCP part because I am not delivering anything beside idea, CCP does bring internal prototypes.
We can only post ideas and see where CCP sees potential. As for implementation, it would need some restructuring to the way piloting is done, basically take control of your spaceship like in Freelancer, new flying mode, mabe even good for fighting PvP in nimble frigates, so it would give us something new beside only flying in stations, something else than double click in space.
Double click in space could engage the new flying mode, or we could have a new key for engaging it.
But it was posted over and over in the forums, and it led us nowhere nearer to it.

I don't see the game being dumbed down, rather I see more accessibility everywhere for a low end stuff, and removed crazy stuff like old scanning without schemes and with a lot of dragging the probes around by default, that was rather awkward and cumbersome.

The implementation was not where it should be and in different form they could be ok, in planetary management, and as a unseparable part of the industrial facilities. with them gaining levels of experience, and with soldiers guarding the instalations like in Jagged Alliance 2. Those instalations could be attacked then in DUST in PvE missions.

I was watching this stream from last Fanfest where they talked about implementing into EVE universe something like crowd science program, basically you would match pictures again and again and again, for some strange points. it looked booring honestly, but better than mining. Maybe if they would involve ISK in it people would feel more inclined to do that? Or 5 Aurum for bonus round of ten perfectly matched pictures?

So it was all about your in game play.
I Actually had a story about me pre-game, (well, this posted earlier is pre-game too) me being in army and piloting a fighter in Gallente-Caldari fights and then rescuing some other Caldari pilot and deciding to step into the capsuleer shoes to punch those Gallenteans more.
But I had to step down somewhat, because (surprise, surprise) Gallente character was my characters first actual capsuleer friend in the game. So I had to bury this story and never talked about it.
But you know what did I do in the army. Killed some people. Being experimented on for the glory of the State. Then went to space to seek the vengeance on Gallanteans but found it is completely different here and finally I seek enlightment in science because of Talocans.

You have rubberbanded back, and was destroyed, it shows that logs will show nothing.
Client was just unresponsive for a second.
In extreme case I had my raven destroyed, raven stayed in place after connection died, and client didnt stop running on my machine. Then game noticed something is wrong and exited me with something like "connection died" message.
It was already dead on server. I logged in and saw my capsule.
Everything what you see in client must be taken with a dose of uncertainty. Especially when you see rubberbanding or gaps in ship animation.
I would petition it nonetheless.

Few days earlier someone jumped right before me to a camped system and I jumped just after him.
He was scrammed webbed and who know what else, I just warped out not bothering with gank.
He actually overtook me in capsule in warp from that place.

What is surprising is the rate at which it rises.
For me It looks like CCP just doesnt care anymore about PLEX. I imagine them saying: lets leave it, people will sort it out themselves in game. I imagine there is no Eyj+¦lfur Gu+¦mundsson to make big eyes and give a speach why its a foul idea to put down PLEX like that.
Meanwhile, the management probably like more the idea of Aurum. Aurum leaves the system with microtransactions in NEX store.
It does not give other people a game time.
People have to pay with real money or leave, because the game doesnt really reward you with such amounts of ISK when you play not a HARDCORE game of yours.

I launched a corpse, a mobile depot, and a gecko into space, and used Stratios side drone bay exit as an object of length determination.
All those objects seem to be in scale. Human fits in the gecko 34 m long axis, the mobile depot is 56 m long axis, the object under the Stratios hull, commonly described as a mini shuttle could fit humans inside. Its even bulkier than Gecko.

And I am basically using Lovecraftian cosmicism, but I replaced cthulhu, elder gods, and all aliens with ascended humans who have great knowledge and used technology to make interdimensional travel. That technology is behaving very much like every plot device, it can do anything to a man on the most fundamental levels, like stripping electrons from atoms in his body. Whole machinery is operated by a mind of user. Without training of the user and special mind capabilitys the machinery is useles and can do more harm than good for anyone.

I have the same phone for 5 years. Battery is removable with one finger, it can still hold a power for few days so I dont change it.
There's a reason they don't make them like that anymore.

Yesterday I made 1,2 B. With selling everything in Jita and buying PLEX. A lot of sentiend drone modules, deadspace modules, blueprints for Ashimmu and Worm dropped.
In one day. Doing only exploration, and I saw people complaining about CCP changing loot tables secretly to diminish the loot dropped.

I played a game (very ancient) where you can build them bombs and destroy everyone, but victory was not really sweet, rather bitter, as you survived alone on the planet. I dont remember the title.
Enyone seen a game when you can resolve arising crisis or war with your own wits and diplomatic talents? Where game would accept a victory by outwitting without killing? I suspect it would take very good writer or AI to make such game...

Talking about archaic, I try to run fallout 2 on a win 7 and all I get is aproximately 30x50 pixels blurry rectangle in a corner of the screen. Some kind of bug.
