Didn't see this one get answered - nope. Only ships that can fit a covert ops cloak can jump through a blops bridge to a covert cyno.

After 3 3/4 years playing I was kinda embarrassed that I didn't know the answer. But then, I'm waiting to see what they are going to do to Black Ops before I plug in those Jump Drive Level 5's. I was recently in an alliance with a member in his 60's as well. Hell, if Eve is still around when I hit 60 I'll probably still be here too.

Yup. It would take a hella game to pull me away, and I don't even hear murmurings of anything in development that is appealing at all. Highly unlikely for EVE to be topped. Why do bikers wear leather ??-á Because chiffon wrinkles too easily.-á -- Paul Lynde |

Wow, weird ! Anybody know what's up ?
I checked ingame for info on Core Scanner Probes vs Sister's core Probes, and there is, within the info, no discernible difference anymore. No indication of bonus scan strength at all.............or what their strength even is. Why do bikers wear leather ??-á Because chiffon wrinkles too easily.-á -- Paul Lynde |

Yeah, none of my characters can fly one either. They're not terribly useful in the small gang stuff I've done or soloing, and any time there is enough of a gang to justify the use of a black ops, someone always already has one or two.

That's odd - they used to be 5% or 10% better in strength. I don't recall which off the top of my head.

Yes, I think so, at least for anything other than hi-sec probing.
They're not like ammo where you can run out. When it was possible to forget your probes out in space, I lost maybe 3-4 sets of sister's probes over the years. Now I don't think you can lose them without intentionally abandoning them. So they're not a risky investment, and even at level 4-ish skills, using a sister's launcher and sister's probes, there are still some sites that can be difficult to probe out.

My tragedy is over the past spring I finally got my alt Infinitio level 5'ed in absolutely every Astrometrics skill. Then a month later, Odyssey cam out and made a lot of that moot. Even more funny is the Wikipedia link to Minneapolis in their article explains that "the City of Minneapolis, is the county seat of Hennepin County".... not Cass County.
The Star tribune article - which they also link - explains that where this happened was 3.5 hours North of "the Twin Cities" - i.e. Minneapolis-St. Paul.

Minneapolis (ugh..the evil city) is indeed a CITY. Part of the Twin Cities. Partner to St. Paul (where I live )
Cass County is a COUNTY. On the western end of the state. Minneapolis is on the Eastern end.
St. Paul is also the capital of Minnesota. Red Fed Grunt.-á Co-Host of the High Drag Podcast. http://highdrag.wordpress.com/ UNBAN SAEDE!-á ALICE SAKI FOR OOPE MODERATOR! Check out the space music at http://minddivided.com |

Drones are awesome in PvE.
Guristas jamming you? drones. Blood Raiders tracking disrupting you? drones. Serpentis damping you? drones. Tired of buying ammo? drones. Need to run to the fridge for a beer but keep shooting? drones.

Oh noes! They're adding 3 guardian vexors and 2 gold magantes back into the game.
The values of existing guardian vexors will plummet! Every newb on the corner will have a gold magnate. Oh the huge-manatee!
