I used virtual machines when i did my tech support training. they're fun to break
also good for 'what happens if i do this?' moments, since you can just reload it and lose little.
like when we wondered if you could do a remote desktop chain. turns out you can. You can't take the sky from me

Floridians and bad journalism in one package:
Dad's texting to daughter sparks argument, fatal shooting in movie theater
"Voices were raised. Popcorn was thrown. And then came something unimaginable -- except maybe in a movie. A gun shot."
""I can't believe people would bring a pistol to a movie," said Cummings."
The example from the writer, and the eyewitness quote point to forgetting that 15 months ago, 16 people were killed at once by an assault rifle in theater in Aurora, Colorado.
It's not even mentioned. "He has mounted his hind-legs, and blown crass vapidities through the bowel of his neck."-á - Ambrose Bierce on Oscar Wilde's Lecture in San Francisco 1882 |

Yup, I'm sure he was on some mind altering drug for depression as well. That seems rather normal with most of these shootings.
Also some morons are trying to make it easier to get concealed weapon permits in this state. If you think you need to carry a concealed weapon in public that tells me something is very very wrong in this country.
I know I talk down a lot about guns but I'm not totally against them, I just find some of the laws totally insane. I have several myself and I don't intend to get rid of them or feel bad for having them. People, who talk, don't know. People, who know, don't talk. |

Jackie Gleason. No one could get away with that nowadays. What a classic! Burt Reynolds. In his prime, he was awesome. Kitschy, but awesome! Jerry Reed. Consumate redneck but likeable. Sang some fun songs. Sally Fields. Young and extremely good looking. Plus, a little devilish. Great counterpoint.
Ah, Smokey and the Bandit was an excellent movie.
Yup.
My dad wasn't really one to laugh at films, but Gleason had him in stitches in this one.
Jerry Reed was just so weirdly talented and a natural onscreen, it's hard to believe he started out originally on "Hee-Haw".
Reinforced the brilliance of casting Burt Reynolds in "Boogie Nights" as "The King of Sleazy 70's Pron", sort of brooding god-like over the film's proceedings. But it won't. The right-wing is determined to get rid of absolutely any vestige of gun limits at all. They need to be "evaluated" if you ask me.
They have practically threatened civil war over this.
(And no, I'm not one to get rid of all guns myself. But nobody has any need for something like an AK-47 (it's creator died this past week, calling his invention of it "the greatest sadness of my life"). And a mental health evaluation proof needed to purchase. This would stop a lot of the severe stuff we've seen going on). In my mind the mentality in this country about health care is that only the wealthy deserve health care. If you poor, thats too bad. "I dont want to pay for you."
