I've read a lot, and this is the best breakdown and discussion of "The Shining" I've encountered yet.
"That The Shining, specifically, has the remarkable quality of inviting speculation about its themes and intent while repelling anything you throw at it. Watching the film again, I was struck by how much it frustrated my attempts to interpret it. Formally and thematically, itGÇÖs such a weird, disorienting, elusive vision that for me to offer up my own big, sweeping theory would be akin to speculating about a Rorschach blot."

While I appreciate the sentiment I seriously don't think it was a worthwhile investment to undertake. The funds could have been allocated for more Dev work to fix broken content within the game. Besides that, I think it would have been much cheaper and more beneficial to players if CCP had erected the Monument within the game. Anyway, LIKES distributed. DMC Quiet you For real. As if Devs and others are going to be re-appropriated to smelting at the very foundry and doing all the engraving or something. Lame and self-entitled and ungrateful and unimaginative, most indeed. Only an ignorant self righteous pompous buffoon would think my reply meant that CCP Devs did all the actual work.

the joke is to position the sheep facing out over a cliff, so they push back
i just had a dinner of quinoa prepared with free range low sodium broth, and green tea sweetened with liquid stevia extract. i'm completely full with no crash. it's not the best taste in the world, but the saying is 'sexy feels better than food tastes.' plus with seasoning/spices the quinoa can be made interesting. i used garlic salt, pepper, and a blend of seasoning meant for chicken.
completely stuffed, energy level is great. i think this is the day i quit sugar for the most part. in the last two years I've quit alcohol, tobacco, caffeine, and sugar... in that order.
I also began a prescription of adderall about nine months ago, but since quitting caffeine I haven't refilled the prescription. I can think of a few times when I could have used it, and now that sugar is severly reduced in my diet I don't think I'll need it again.

Oh well I never read the offical CCP document only the news article a while back and the way it was worded made me think that it would be the players name not the toon name on the monument...so much for that plan I guess

sugar. another one of those things that feel good but are bad for you. some desires are cravings, but other things can be called addictions for the severity of their impact on the body. for justification of my view of sugar as an addiction, pick your metric and any chronic disease comparable to diabetes.
