Hey hey,
I'm training up my cruiser skill atm, and i have a few questions. What stuff should i train to make the most out of cruisers. I have medium turrets allready lined up ofcourse. Currently i'm still doing lvl 1 missions with a destroyer. Also should i save up for a rupture or first go for a stabber and later on the rupture?
thanks in advance for the answers.

Go for the Rupture. The Stabber doesn't really shine until you can T2 fit it.
What are your Engineering/Electronics skills like? Your Mechanics skills? ----------------------------------------------

Ok, my advice then, would be to hold off jumping into cruisers until you've trained up the "Electronics" and "Engineering" skills to at least level IV. Also, if you get a Rupture I'd advise armour tanking it. Thus you'll need the skills "Hull Upgrades" and "Repair Systems" initially, and I'd say get them to at least level 3, along with "Minmatar Cruiser" and Med proj turrets. ----------------------------------------------

Of course that might just be me, I don't generally get into ships without the relating skill at least at level 3-4. ----------------------------------------------

I agree with Kalazar on this one. I just started flying the Stabber a lot last week and I've got just over 6M SP and I won't start flying the Rupture more until I have better drone skills. I spent a lot of time specializing in T2 frigs first though.

one thing i was told when is started 2 years ago -
Only fly a ship if you can afford to lose it
I.E if buying a cruiser, have enough for 2. and insure :) I have a really nice signature. It doesnt exceed the 24000 byte limit, or the height restrictions - Laice |

I just spent 3 months getting my skills up for tech II equipment on my drake. I'll be able to get in the thing 5 minutes before downtime :D.
Unless you are doing really easy missioning, take the time to upgrade most of the skills you need for the ship/equipment to at least level 3. By the time you start to think about battleships, most everything you need will be leveled up already.
