Zilllii, in my opinion, is someone who asked a fair question. I don't see any alliance going "Oh okay, sorry for the smack, here's 1.5 bil" to anyone. And I'm quite sure your corporation doesn't refund smack either. So I'm curious how you're gonna answer the question.

not a ransom????
It's a new department: "Creative procurement and sales of assets not originally ours to begin with"

Originally by: SuNnY l3oNe Now that is one of the most worthless postings I have ever seen. Congrats, your baked, no one really cares. Nice little comparison though, happy to see the weed hasn't killed all the brain cells yet. Sober up and read what you wrote...lol!

Now I seriously must ask, is it really piracy, hmm I think not. But then again we must at the point of view. To be honest we do not need a reason or an excuse. These things we do because we can.
Bullying a weaker corp? No my friend. We are just taking advantage of one of the many aspects of EVE-Online. It is really just good times to do what others consider piracy. I, personally, call it liberating others of their assets. Once liberated, the owner of said assets will be motivated to replace the lost item, or possibly "build a better mousetrap." However, V2. is not a corp of pirates, just merely misunderstood freedom fighters... we feel that Demio's Corp is oppressing though poor little POS's...lol
That was quite possibly the worst attempt at semantically covering up a piracy attempt that I have ever seen. I'd like to think of several analogies involving prostitutes, prom queens and possibly amusing members of the animal kingdom, but quite frankly, I wouldn't see how I could do that when your example is already so striking...

Everyone loves to use the "P" word for anything not Empire War based or 0.0 fun. I find that to be quite ironic. So what is piracy you ask?
Pronunciation: \ˈpī-rə-sē\ Function: noun Inflected Form(s): plural pi+ra+cies Etymology: Medieval Latin piratia, from Late Greek peirateia, from Greek peiratēs pirate Date: 1537
1: an act of robbery on the high seas; also : an act resembling such robbery 2: robbery on the high seas 3a: the unauthorized use of another's production, invention, or conception especially in infringement of a copyright b: the illicit accessing of broadcast signals
Now that we are educated, maybe we can use the term properly. Why should we cover up anything? It is just not piracy to be perfectly honest. V2. never stole anything from Demio's Corp, just attacked some of their assets.... and good times were had by all, except Demio's Corp members...ect.
Apparently you need to be educated on the definition of 'robbery' as well, and it's derivatives just to make sure. You go on having your 'good times' and declaring your actions to be more than just bullying. As the saying goes; "whatever gets you off"...

Sounds like you have a character in Dasfry's corp which has been affected by this.
If not, I really must ask, Why are you so concerned for them ? FYI we arent that much bigger corp wise then them
No, I don't. I haven't even heard of them since before I saw this thread. But as I've tried to point out more often, these are public forums- anything said here goes to public opinion. You either handle that, or stop posting. My concerns are my own- but rest assured that they involve something about 'caring when a bigger guy bullies a smaller guy', especially when there are hints that the bigger guy doesn't have the backing of his own alliance (props to the rest of Smash for not touching this with a 10-foot pole ).
Don't you worry about my reasons. I'm just a public person on a public forum, asking public questions.
