I use to fly a dual point malidiction for fleet ops. Having a scram and a web ment fewer escaped and I could point two targets(it's my job!). But now in 0.0 I am finding I am not required for my pointing with so many bubbles and interdictors.
So when piloting a malidiction should I be forgowing the dual point fit for a scram and a web?
Note this is for in fleets and not solo. DPS does not really matter except for killing pesky drones.
Thanks for helping out a 0.0 noob.
If webs are much more desirable than points are fleet interceptors that usefull?
Need more-ádecent content a casual player can access in a 1-2h play period that is actually fun and contributes to long term personal and corp goals. This applies to PvE and PvP. |

scram web on a dps ceptor like a blaster ranis.
If you're really there for dedicated tackle then a long point is a must and fitting a scram vs web is dependent on the other ships in your gang. I lean towards scram since I'm more concerned with with a mwd-ing target escaping than an afterburning one, plus having 3 points of warp disruption helps you catch stabbed targets that have low agility. |

malediction
high slots - whatever you want (mix of rockets and AC works good) mid slots - mwd, disruptor II, scrambler II low slots - damage control II,?,?
rigs: the one that makes you target faster, and the one that makes you target range longer, cant remember names. |

Thats my fit. Didn't know if it changed in 0.0 due to bubbles.

Bubbles do not affect 0.0 game play as much as you think. When you are in 0.0 people will have safes almost every gate. The only time you would be required to augment your fit for 0.0 is when you are CAMPING a bubble. This requires an extremly fast lock time to ensure that they cannot burn out of the bubble.
Also, agility/speed rigs are nice for burning to targets that are at safe points. A longer targeting distance is useless if you cannot distrupt/scram at that range. The only place when I could see an inty needing lock range and scan res is attepting to get cloaky vessels that get trapped in a bubble.
My 2 cents anyways |
