I have no idea how to do this with the new expansion installed, since I no longer seem to even have a prefs.ini file. The Nvidia console doesn't seem to change anything either when I alter the settings there.
Anyone able to perhaps point me in the right direction to get AA running?

I have some problems and some success with this.
I can hard set AA in Control panel, but it will only work in full screen mode, not in windowed.
Here are some info to get AA and HDR to work: http://www.eve-search.com/thread/650997/page/1#14

Unless you have a DirectX 10 compatible card, you can't run EVE with HDR and AA enabled at the same time, you'll have to choose one or the other. ---

Not really true, any Nvidia card that supports the content should be able to run AA and HDR with nHancer. Performance on older cards will suffer though.
DX10 and Trinity have nothing whatsoever to do with eachother.
AA only works in fullscreen mode, and if you want to use it with HDR you need to use the compatibility settings in nHancer.

I have an ATI X1950 and Anti-Alias doesn't work together with HDR. Any ideas how to solve this?

I have an X1950 and AA doesnt work even with HDR turned off with the new content . Which driver are you using?
Edit: Classic content works fine with AA in the new engine tho...

I found this as well.
AA worked with HDR turned off if Temporal AA was checked. It still doesn't work if HDR is turned on.
This is with the Catalyst 7.10 drivers. I tried the 7.11 drivers but the frame rate dropped by around 30%. The drivers do support HDR and AA and have done since 6.10 so I guess something in EVE is forcing AA off when HDR is turned on.

using Catalyst 7.11, AA works fine in full-screen mode (standard settings - Optimal Quality)
Interesting note on framerates under 7.11...
We need an ingame-benchmark, like a rolling demo or something!
