Apparently using shield boosters causes physical discomfort. How can you justify an AFS tank as a Caldari roleplayer now? (Don't take this too seriously, it's more a matter of curiosity)
Blue Pill Booster Discription:
Quote: This booster relaxes a pilot's ability to control certain shield functions, among other things. It creates a temporary feeling of euphoria that counteracts the unpleasantness inherent in activating shield boosters, and permits the pilot to force the boosters to better performance without suffering undue pain.

I suppose that if you had to activate shield boosters, then it would be because the shields needed boosting. Why would sheilds need boosting? Probably because something is shooting at you. It would seem logical that being shot at might sour the mood of a pod-pilot somewhat, and may even in fact cause pain of some description. Just like being shot at in real life isn't exactly a bowl of cherries. Makes perfect sense to me.

Dunno what's with the lol at RPers there, you're playing an RPG just like us after all.
Anyway, RP or not the description does make sense.

At the end it says something about preventing undue pain. In my view pain does fall in the category of physical discomfort :)

Yep you are right. But I still take it to mean that normal shieldboosting is 'unpleasant' and forcing even more shieldboosting is painful. I think the booster is like an anasthetic to the pain of forcing more shieldboosting.
From a RP point of view; the limit on your shieldboost amount is limited by your threshold for discomfort when shieldboosting. If you go over that threashold then it will hurt, the booster increases your pain threshold and lets you boost more.
Anyway, its RP, you can interpret it however you like, isn't that the point? I dunno, I dont actually RP á ============================================

It is because the left bum cheek is used to activte the module and many hours of boosting causes cramps in the bum.

The descriptions of boosters are all together utterly crap. They don't make sense in any way...i guess the one who wroted them was on boosters himself :D
