I'm new to Eve, brand new... I have no idea what I'm doing but I was told to get into a corp.
So here I am. I chose a Minmatar Sebiestor with "tinkers," "industry," and "engineer."
I am 26 and a dentist in California. I want a mature corp who is willing to train me from the beginning. I'm a fast learner and have been playing all sorts of games since I was five.
I'm not expecting to be given anything but advice and guidance.
So, if you're interested in taking on a charity case (me), then let me know what your corp is all about.

I'd suggest EVE University for your starting point.

Moonlight enterprises is a small corp of friends. We are looking for some new players to just increase the game-ing experience. We have players in both America and Europe so you'l have a descent chance of finding corp members online at the same time as you are.
We'd be more then willing to help you out with getting started in this game. Even though you may not expect more the advice and a little guidance we'd be more then happy to supply you with some equipment to get you started. We try to do a little of everything as a corp, so we can help you go in the direction you want.

Hi Lineous,
First I want to say welcome to EVE. It's a great game and does take some time to learn. Since you are just starting out I would recommend, as someone already has, Eve University. They are a great bunch and teach alot.
If you want to get into a small but growing corp then I also invite you to join Angelcor. We are mostly made up of MMO vets but are new to EVE. We do have some experienced members in our corp as well but we intend to learn as we go.
Whatever path you choose, I wish you luck in your search and future within the EVE Universe.
