Maybe anyone of you see this new star in the systems.
Is this star the eve gate? In another story i read, the eve gate are visible in the another systems too, but only the amarrs have the best visible places.

It is not the eve gate, it is in the wrong direction i believe. Also, i've read that it can be seen in the same system as the eve gate. -------------------------------------

If you read the scientific articles, you'd find that Stargates may only be constructed in Binary star systems. IMO, the "Binary Star" explanation with the "new" stars being a simple addition to conform to backstory is the most viable one.
However, there is a gigantic topic in General Discussion about this, so I guess you could avail yourself to one of their rambling, crazed rationalizations on the topic. |

The only small problem there being that according to that same article, stargates have to be on a direct line between those two stars, at fixed, mathematically precise intervals. Instead, they're scattered all over any given system apparently at random.
The stargate article's pretty much entirely ignorable, frankly, given that it describes stargates as working very differently to what is actually the case (each gate connects to all of the other gates that it can actually reach and the traveling ship chooses where they want to go from the list of potential valid destinations)
On the other hand, there's minimal possibility of it being a fixed entity in space - its position in the sky varies massively depending on the system. Sometimes it's in the north-east, sometimes in the south-east, sometimes directly west.
My guess is that it's nothing more than a graphics artifact generated by the map's zoom function. -

I believe it has been said before in other threads but it could be a sort of gate to JOVE space... Although the strength of such a gate would have to be so great it would probably completely wipe out a system. Other rumors have been spread about systems imploding, but I simply cannot believe that one... :) Personally I think CCP might have an opportunity here to open a new sort of deadspace. ______________________

Does anyone else think the star's lower than it used to be? You barely have to tilt the view anymore to see it.
