I got a question about the new Bandwidth what we have now in trinity.
I see there a problem with ships with Drone Bonus like Ishkur or Mothership the Nyx.
The Ishkur have a Drone Capacity Bonus, that they can deploy better drone like 3 medium and 2 scout, it was a good setup but not realy imba or overpowered. now with the new Bandwidth they cant use any more this setup ONLY the alternate setup like every other ship too 5 scout drones. so here come my question for what have this ships a drone bonus, they NEVER cant use his bonus cuz of low Bandwidth. that makes the ships with drone bonus sensless.
by the nyx i know only that they can only start 7 fighter now... befor 13 or 15 dunno exactly.. i know that the nyx have only one way for selfdefends to start his fighters..
i dont think that the Bandwidth is the best way to make a drone balancing.

I think the Bandwidth is flawed at present. We need modules and rigs that can increase bandwidth, that should fix the issue I think.
I also think you need to learn English, reading that post was like being stabbed in the eye with a fork covered in lemon juice.

Ok... fair enough, I didn't realise the guy wasn't a native English speaker. I'm in a bad mood because my computer died and I can't play EVE, (trolling forum by PDA). I shouldn't have started flaming, didn't mean any harm by it. I just hate it when 12 year old asses butcher the English language.
As a matter of fact I'm currently learning Russian and Japanese at a beginner level and I'm semi-fluent in Spanish. I'm attempting to learn Welsh as well but I can't get any decent beginner courses despite living in Wales. Still I shouldn't be behaving like an ass.

back on topic i like the idea of a drone bandwidth rig or a mod ffs the eos and myrm are crippled.

Yeah, a low-slot bandwidth booster, so it compromises your tank but allows a proper complement of drones, would be just the ticket. The Myrm's problem wasnt' the damage output, it was the damage combined with the ungodly tanking power. Make pilots choose one or the other, and the problem is fixed without eliminating options.

People have been asking since launch for drone bay extenders so they could field bigger/more drones. Never got them. Think the odds of CCP adding bandwidth extenders are any good?
Second, the majority of frigates can field no drones, a couple have room for 1, a lucky few can field 2 and the Imicus can field 3. The Ishkur is the only frigate in the game that can field 5 light drones. How is that "like every other ship"? There are no other.
Third, the Ishkur's drone bay got boosted. At max skills you now have room for 2 wings of lights. So you can bring spares, a wing of ECM drones for gang support work or 2 different damage types. Yes, it got nerfed in its max dps output but gained a bit in versatility.

I think the reason we never got boosts to drone bay really was because it was already an ungodly overpowered mess for Gellente. Now however it would weaken the Gellente's tanking ability to give them back what they had in the first place. I can see CCP being prepared to do that. You could have a small one that adds 10mb, a medium that ads 25mb, and a large that ads 50mb. I would say not to include a capital version.
Personally, I'd have said making it a mid slot makes more sense because I've seen more shield tanking than armour tanking Gellente pilots recently but that may just be me.

I think it is the Ishkur bonus that is flawed, any other ship that has a bonus to ammo capacity?
And the ishkur's dronebay just looks plain ridiculous compared to the sentinel's one.
If it had 50m3 basic dronebay and a useful bonus such as drone durability/speed/range, then it would be cool.

Nevermind bandwith increasing modules. I'd just like to have some kind of module or rig (or skill) that can enable my Drake to carry 1 or 2 spare drones.

Well for the Ishkur could they at least kill the optimal range for small hybrid turrets and stick in a 10% bonus to drone HP and damage?
