There are many ways of dealing with great number of tickets - like some kind of number randomizer. Chribba is, as allways, a good 3rd party to do the drawings ... Just my 2 cents.

Anyways i applaud you in your attempt at the lotto. You should look at doing a tier system. For example lotto off 20, yes 20, Faction ships with a bit overpriced tickets. Each winner and runner up (to be stated by lottery rules) earn a slot in the drawing for the shiny ship. Personally i can sell out 4 lottos a week no problem so your talking about doing this over a 2 month period at most. Sell the remaining 9 tickets to the public at a fixed price to allow people the opportunity to participate if they did not win another lotto. Then have a final drawing and be done with it. This allows maximum number of players to participate with minimal "loss". It's all in the marketing of the event. Those who have seen me spam a lotto somewhere know what i mean. If you would like detailed inform on how the tier system works in conjunction with real world lottos please contact me. If your wondering who i am please crawl out from whatever rock you have been under.
