As soon as they started fighting. Both would be wounded. So the tiger would probably win.

The wounded one.....if the wound is emotional. ------ Any factual errors or mistakes in spelling and grammar should be attributed solely to me and not my nation of origin. |

Only the vultures would win that one. That is the only certainty given the the presented facts.

Is this a trick question? Is one of the tigers Tiger Woods, the famous golfer? I only ask because this would affect the outcome terribly. (NOT MY FACE!! NOT MY FACE!!!)

a wound if not severely incapacitating will infuse increased adrenaline awareness and precision. the wounded tiger would most likely win if it was just a scratch. at any rate the wounded tiger would be much more dangerous than the tiger that was not wounded.

"wounded" isnt very exact.
like... maybe his vital organs are perfectly intact, but some meanie possibly cut some important muscles.
wounded in that matter is like... a guaranteed loss.
but tbh i have no friggin idea, what this thread about. the CAOD link was even worse. i mean yeah, internet spaceships IS serious business. no doubt.
but still... get a life, ladies

This is a more complex issue that it first appears.
Now, initially it seems simple. First, we postulate that the wounded tiger is more dangerous than the healthy tiger. Thus, the wounded tiger wins.
However, this ignores one important fact:
During the fight, in order to win, the wounded tiger must wound the healthy tiger. Then you have two wounded tigers. Now all bets are off, unless more factors are considered. One could argue that the originally healthy tiger is tireder, since it has been losing up to this point. However, one could also suggest that due to the freshness of it's wound, that tiger is also more pumped up on adrenaline and is now a stronger wounded tiger.
To sort out these uncertainties, another postulate can be presented: a tiger backed into a corner is more dangerous that a tiger who is free. A simple model for this would be that the strength of the tiger is inversely proportional to the square of the distance from a corner. With this taken into account as well as the prior results it becomes clear:
The outcome of the fight is independent of how wounded the tigers are. All that matters is which is closest to a corner.

I think you forgot to consider that the wounded tiger is the tiger before it has been wounded

Also, which tiger has access to a tree? My understanding was that the wound/tree dynamic is integral to the tiger/danger ratio. We know how dangerous a wounded tiger is with, er, it's back against a tree - but what if the unwounded tiger gets to the tree first? What if there is no tree? What if the wounded tiger can only find some sort of shrub? Makes you think.
