If CAOD doesn't consider my corporation of less than 10 people a corporation worthy of being able to post there then why can another corporation wardec me? If lets say PL or the DRF(hehe this would be funny) wardec my corporation they could post in CAOD how they have declared war on my corporation. They could talk about who they killed and battles that happened but I wouldn't be able to comment back at all.
So if I'm in my own Corporation and I can't post in Corporation, Alliance & Organization Discussions...what am I? A small camp?
Perhaps a treehouse filled with people.
I could see if I was in an NPC corporation not being allowed to post there because they don't have control of their actual corporation but everyone else should be allowed to post. |

CAOD = "Corporation & Alliance Organization Discussion"
You're in a corp. Are you in an alliance? Does it take much organization to keep less than 10 people in a corp?

CAOD has been such a barren wasteland content-wise since all the restrictions and heavy-handed moderation that I don't see why anyone would care about the ability to post there. |

So can 10 people be just from 1 person.
Let look at the info for CAOD for just a second.
-- Info From political conflicts to battle reports, news, and corporation press releases - this is the in-character political center for all things corporate. --
Doesn't state anything specific to alliances.
I have a press release about how I'm going to wardec another corporation or how we're going to be giving away 50bil isk to the first corporation to take us down. How about I had a huge battle defending a POS and are asking other bigger corporations to help out. So for a section that is "for all things corporate" my corporation isn't allowed to post in the corporation forum.
So I see the post in warfare and tactics response. But not everything I could talk about corporation wise has anything to do with war or tactics. |

Corps aren't guilds, you don't form them to "hang out", you form them to say "We're strong enough to stand on our own!"
You can have a social channel without being exposed to war decs, and then head back to your NPC corps where you can be relatively safe.

Yep let em post. There's no real reason not to let anyone NOT in a n00b corp post other than it is because CCP at the moment says so.

Since when has asking nicely been successful vs. the majority of the people on these forums?
In addition to and as clarification of my earlier admittedly less constructive post: A certain level of commitment before involving oneself into the discussions on that board is NOT too much to ask imo. More than enough venues remain for corps smaller than 10 people. While the wardec mechanism is inherently broken in terms of the application of any politics and sensibility in wars, this should not mean that the floodgates need to be opened in CAOD for every war including a small corp, plus all the throwaway troll alts that will come in regardless with such sensible reasons. The place is already a mess as it is.
If your corp is too small to combat your WT's propaganda on CAOD, then adapt. What is NOT broken about the wardec system is its ability to be a topdown control of sensible corp formation. Without delving too deep into the ageold discussion about corps that wish to limit themselves to only part of the game while still banding together - you need to be able to operate within the set rules, they are generally there for good reasons. The CAOD rule is good for better reasons than it is bad for. Adapt!

Cause you'll think that all the class and manners will be wiped away by the dirty peasants? CAOD, why anyone would want to post there is a mistery to me, but I believe in free speech.

Not peasants, and frankly these peasants you speak of are a part of the RP. But that just doesn't live up to the shiteload of disposable alt trolling which would ensue. As you pointed out, the place is already a cesspool of trolling and metagame bullshitting, it WILL get abused more than it would benefit people like the OP. And as I posted above - imo people like the OP have ample ability to adapt.
