Well i got some pretty heavy graphic glitches witht he new premium client.
First in all stations in background there seems to be part of the image all time dancing.Second some planets edges seem to fluctuate.
I got an asus GF 7900 256m card.
Does anyone have same glitches?Do the 8800 gt or radeon owners also experience them?

Edited by: Sandrine Starfire on 29/12/2007 02:01:54 Edited by: Sandrine Starfire on 29/12/2007 02:01:36 I have similar problems. The glitches appear after about 1-5 minutes of gaming. Faster if i have more clients online. And it's no matter what type of client, the premium or classic one.
I tried it out with a ATI HD2600 XT 512 MB and a ATI HD3850 256 MB. And if i look at your configurations, i think the graphics card doesnt matter.
Is there a solution out there ?
Err, i forgot, if i play additional 5 to 10 minutes the glitches become worse and in the end my pc hangs up.
My problems only appear with eve, no other game shows aquivalent issues on my pc.

also having this issue, I'm running a ati 1950 and after being docked for a decent amount of time my video card crashes and my monitor says it's not running in optimal mode 1280x1024 @ 60hz when I know I am.
Doesn't happen when not docked or with any other comparable game...any known fix?

Edited by: Evil Darkness on 30/12/2007 00:49:07 Edited by: Evil Darkness on 30/12/2007 00:48:31 nope not nearly everyone has this problem, why? Becouse some of the ones that have it are pushing your graphic card to the limit if it becomes worse and worse the longer you play then deffinatilly you are pushing it to the limit, if you play for long like this it will eventually be super bad when you even just log in and then it will go out of eve and also haunt your desktop and every game you got, if you only have this problem in eve that's becouse that is the heaviest game you are playing. Do you have a graphic card that you bought from EVGA? atleast i know that you can buy from them graphic cards that they push to the limits. So they have semy good graphic cards and actually change them making it less likely they will work for long.
My story: I played WoW After about 1 month of playing i started getting heavy lines (some kind of glitches) after i played longer they just got worse and worse and then went out of the game to my desktop and everywhere, and i had to buy a new one but a better one. So now i do not have theese problems

thanks for a completely pointless post, and no I don't own a card from evga and no eve isn't the heaviest game I play on this computer and also how can I be pushing eve to its limit when i average 60+ fps in space.
as for your story...well I'm glad you played wow, cause it explains alot

It conveys no sense to me. Because I tried many configurations and 3 graphic cards (the third one was a X850 XT PE). And I play Games, which need more graphics power then EvE. In my opinion, you have no idea, what you are talking about. But sorry, this should not be personal.
I want simply a skilled answer to my problem or a skilled question to clarify my situation.
I think the other one's with this problem here in this Post have the same concern.

So I have downgraded the catalyst drivers from 7.12 to 7.6, played around with omega drivers and am still getting the issues stated in this thread. I have formatted, ran dxdiag, played cod 4 for 6 hrs and supreme commander for another 2 hrs, watched 2 dvd movies today on my comp and while docked up (doesn't happen while in space)..eve is the only thing that has issues.
Any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated

I have HT2600 XT and it works fairly fine (ship icons look like ****) with 1 client but with 2 running at the same time one becomes glitch/flashing heaven (premium graphics)
Strangely enough it still works well on my ancient laptop with 9200 Mobitliy card and clasic client (can run 2 clients and no glitches or flashing).
Also when the login screen is active the whole computer get's all slow (Q6600 , 2GB, 2003 Enterprise, more than enough HDD space) but when in game than it acts normaly.

With the new Catalyst 8.1 Drivers (ATI HD2600 XT, AMD X2 5800) , i just installed, i can work now with 3 to 4 Clients without Bugs of any kind. I hope this will last forever :)
But I dont know if it was CCP's little Bug Fix the last days or that Catalyst Driver.
