A sniper rule means that no matter when the auction is supposed to end, if a bid is put in before the end of the auction, the auction will be extended with the time that was mentioned with the sniper rule. For example if my auction ends at 22:00 and my sniper rule is 15 minutes. Then if someone offers a new bid at 21:50, the auction lasts 15 minutes from 19:50 onwards, so it will now end at 22:05. Mr M
