I fresh installed xp sp2, ie7, firefox, everything. I have flash installed for both browsers, works fine on other sites. Turned zonealarm off - no change.
It *looks* like it might have something to do with the ad pane on the right-side of eve online's page - those ads are the only thing that doesn't load onto the screen. Both ie7 and firefox sit there completely unresponsive - tooltips frozen, etc.
Anybody have or hear of this issue? Tried searching for it, but couldn't find anything.
Any ideas would be appreciated!

iirc it's Flash that is buggy, try downgrading it.

tbh they should sticky a thread at the top of the forums, there's been a lot of people with this issue (I had it myself). __________________

Ooh - thx for reminding me - I had turned adblock off as part of my figuring out wtf was going on.

I use Flashblock which solves the problem and is easier than adblocking every flash that annoys me by starting without being asked (all of them).

Its even worse when they have sound and your speakers are turned up because you listened to music a couple of hours ago... --- Its dead, Jim.
