Hello
The Tau Ceti Federation shares its space to corporation and alliances. 13 outposts in 6 regions will enable your corp or alliance to grow and become healthier. These regions are habited by angels and sanshas pirates, on the belt or on complexes/cosmic anomalies). You'll find nice roid belts containing the rarest asteroids (mercoxit, arkonor, bistot, crokite, ice...)
Each region has an intel channel, providing some serenity against ennemies
You are a CEO looking for 0.0 space : The alliance "Free Trade Zone." will host you for 200M a month and grant you access to the 13 outposts and 6 regions. Standing will be sorted, you will be able to mine, hunt, explore...
You are the leader of an alliance : You will be able to do the same, but for standing reasons, you will have to stay in 1 or 2 regions only.
If you are interested, you can check the complete rules of this space at the following adress : http://ftz.tauceti-federation.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?fid=4
Feel free to convo me (DON'T EVEMAIL !) or a regional administrator for further details.

Oh I love this!
Free Trade Zone - for 200M a month
and..
access to the 13 outposts and 6 regions - you will have to stay in 1 or 2 regions only
So much can be said for them but the product shows it all.

why don't you just shut your mouth ? Did BoB proposed anything as cheap or as wide ? Does an alliance wanting 0.0 access really need to go in 6 regions simultaneously. Standings are a pain to manage, this is a way to limit problems. But i'm opened to propositions

Ya excellent idea getting pets. I fully agree ! The 15-20% refining tax in TCF stations, office rents, Moon mining tax and special ratting rights licenses will fill thier wallets quite fast. Good idea TCF !

i will be honest.
i was a member of FTZ for a few months. the ratting in wicked creek and Omist sucks quite badly, that is, the space we are allowed in has cruddy truesec.
i got disrespected and attacked by "blues" in alliances like Goons, RA, Venom and UNL.
you get access to a very limited area which is overcrowded with other alliances/corps and high taxes. Most systems are over-ratted.
The fees rose from 50mill to 200mill, the reason being is that we got access to Omist, which is in my opinion, a pathetic reason

There are indeed areas of the FTZ where ratting sucks, just like all areas of EVE some are better than others. But there are others where I happen to RAT that are opened not only to FTZ but to allies as well and are just great and really underpopulated, guess u didn't take enough time to really check but went where all the others go.
Sure it's not a -1.0 true sec but I prefer a moderate "-" true sec where I can rat and have elbow room, make a regular 20-30 mil/hour with salvage and loots, discounting the occasional officer spawn and exploration.
As far as attack and disrespect (not sure what you mean by that), the area where I farm has none of those issues, none that I witnessed, noone bullies anyone, so I can't really say much of your experience, but that maybe you went rating where you were not supposed to.
The intel channel is great, and provides info on roaming ennemies, form ups and so on, so you are really free to either join and get a taste of PVP or dock at the nearest station.
200 Mil/month may be too much for a 1 man corp but say for a 5 to 10 man corp it really starts to be a great deal, given the areas I have in mind...
- for a 10 man Corp, 1 hour of ratting/month that goes to pay the fee, - for a 5 man Corp it takes 2 hours ratting/month to pay the fee, is that too much asking ?
As for those concerned with TCF getting pets, I guess that your vision is somewhat distorted by your own experience with BOB, we don't bully around or order ppl to do things. We have a business agreement between renters and rentees, the main rule being that you just don't go to your neighboor's appartment and rumage through his cupboard to do your own cooking.

Props to TCF in encouraging more people out to 0.0! To those who try to shoot down this idea....well..I'm pretty sure BoB fees were a lot more excessive than a mere 200m per month..plus the fact that BoB would use their pets as meatshields.

A very good deal for a corp . U have Now access to Mercoxit and sansha npc in very low SS. U can t put moon mining pos without agrement and refinnery taxe are 10 % but FTZ is always one of the lower price for 0.0 access in all EVE .

Out of curiosity, I'd like to point your attention to your on rules forum and explain what you have said, and that particular chat log. Contradicts don't you think?

I especially am not fond of a 200m price tag for standings that cannot be set appropriately which you control, and people swinging "I run this channel and I can do what I want" attitudes. Reminds me of 12 year old fps server admins.
TBH, it seemed like a very nice sell and I was highly interested, until I saw that post on your forums, which you should probably take down.

Edited by: Mizerik on 07/01/2008 22:09:38 200M a month per corp is about rediculous for normal purposes. Though if it gives access, secure or not to 0.0 ratting, exploration, moon mining ect... It isn't bad.
A few common sense rules should be taken into account though ~
Don't Guarentee Anything, its at the Corps own risk but with proper use of intel channels they should be alittle less vulnerable. Don't put up a PoS you can't afford to lose Consider everyone hostile... who would have guessed that one?
Though at the price I'd say just join an alliance since alliance fees are usually cheaper unless its something like 20M per member per month.

Do you have any idea how easy it is to earn 200 mill in 0 sec? getting access to 0 sec that isn't horribly infested with pirates isn't exactly easy unless you join one of the powerblocks. This is a very reasonably priced service.

If your question is "Out of curiosity, I'd like to point your attention to your on rules forum and explain what you have said, and that particular chat log. Contradicts don't you think?", i don't see a contradiction.
The chat you've read didn't imply a TCF but an alliance leader friend of TCF. Be more specific and i'd gladly answer you (i've not understood all the words philounet told, to be honnest. "bully" ?)

@Mizerik, pls read a bit more closely the terms of the FTZ offer, we are not talking of individual pilots but of Corps and Alliances. And if for you 1hr of farming per month is too high a fee, well I guess you are better off in empire.
@Baline un bully c'est le mec le plus fort de la cour de rTcrT qui fais chier les plus faibles...jusqu'au jour ou les plus faibles s'unissent et foutent un raclTe au plus fort...toute similitude avec BOB est fortuite ^^.

Edited by: Kikki Di''je on 10/01/2008 03:47:38 My question since the link has been moderated (glad someone took my advice on that) is this:
You say you don't bully people around, yet the moderated convo had a "channel admin" from one of your intel channels tell someone to stfu.
Edit: (The bully part was telling someone to stfu in an intel channel, when they tried to speak up about a TCF standings issue. Moderator didn't want to hear it, and muted him. This was pretty clear from that log, yet you say you don't bully people.....thats what I'm talking about here).
Why?
Because there was a standings issue/friendly pilot issue which was TCF's fault.. They contradict each other, and I wanted clarification and the details/specifics of your own rules that are not posted as that chat log insists that there are more "hidden" rules.
To post a direct question....if standings are messed up, and it's TCF's fault, would that particular group have to bother paying rent until their losses are "paid for"? Otherwise, it wouldn't be worth it after reading that log.

The standing issue came from a corp whose CEO stole the wallet and left the alliance, leaving the members without standings for 24hours. As they lost standings, issues happened between the intel chat and the overview -> the **** hit the fan.

The people who where in the corp have founder another corp and are part of FTZ, so i think they still take their benefit from using our space.
Don't forget both parties have benefits from the agreement, it's not TCF's interest to lose residents. Some corps came for some months, and left, some are in FTZ since the beginning. Some have tried a few weeks and left because they did not like it. I offer a choice :)
