did you know these exist now? if yes - are you or an alt inventing them?
if no - will you use warp core stabilizers for 0.0 ratting more?
- do you think a 20 percent increase and decrease for the targetting range and scan resolution respectively is worth the 16 percent cpu need increase?
- will you invent or buy them now to sell to high demand regions? Trashed sig, Shark was here |

T2 Warp Core stabilisers do exist. I believe 2 were given out as a prize to Burn Eden in a CCP contest. As far as I know, they are the only two to exist.
They're also not currently inventable.

These used to exist, and they used to give 2 points of warp strength if I remember right. Now, whether or not they actually got seeded is another story, but the module description was there in RMR.

How do you explain the hundreds of T2 stabs currently selling in Jita then?
EDIT: They've been in since Invention was released, but got nerfed so they only give you +1 warp core strength. The only advantage is lighter penalty for locking speed and range, but they're still too harsh to use in PvP.

I think before replying to a topic saying somethign deosn't exist it would be prudent to check the market.
I did, and I found many WCS II for sale in my local region. Don't really see the benefit of them mind. -- Noble Scumbag

I was thinking of the +2 Warp strength ones. Guess I'm a bit behind the times with invention then.

There are no +2 stabs, the formerly +2 and nonexistent T2 stabs were made +1 and inventable.

Stabs are obsolete. The penalties are too harsh to make them practical on combat ships and the fact that HICs can still tackle you makes agility fits much more attractive on non-combat ships. ----- My in Eve Profile My BattleClinic Page |

if you are going solo deep into enemy territory, say to steal their good exploration sites, fitting WCS is practically a requirement unless you want it it be a very short trip.
Using the halcyon or T2 stabs helps reduce the penalties, so yes I used to invent and use them all the time.
To all the people who whine about stabs, why? they've been part of the game for a long time and all they do is keep one bozo in in a frig from holding you til his 20 buddies can show up.
Trust me, if you run around alliance controlled deep 0.0 like I used to all the time you lose a lot of ships anyway. I've never understood why people whine like little girls about stabs... go fit a slow, unarmed ship with a few and fly around 0.0 alone for a while THEN tell me only wimps use them....

if there were a tech 2 variant, jacko, theyed be under the...V-A-R-I-A-T-I-O-N-S tab in the WCS info window.
Try checking there first before asking silly questions?
And its to my understanding the only people who use them are chen isk farmers, and autopiloting haulers.

T2 stabs are at least better than meta stabs, as opposed to say, T2 armor plates, which are a complete joke.

Yes,I use them on my mission rokhs, but I would never put one on a ship that might get into pvp. That certainly includes 0.0 ratting. Yes,the module is worth it for a missions where the enemies scram. People say "oh,I just am carefull" but the fact is,you lose alot of ships without them. Still, missions are not really profitable, its been at least 6 months since I have done one,for haulers and such,I just use standard t1,becuase Im not going to lock anyone anyway.
