DMC want to be the best titans seller in EVE, gl guys... P.S. Pay all yr money to war (merc or so), this is better idea ;)

I dont blame em for stepping down after they loose five carriers and the people they are trying to save dont even come out to fight themselves.

Dishonorable, immoral and downright slimey acts like these are why many have allied to fight BOB. I speak only for myself, and others with personal integrity.

You (RA) made a deal, you knew what they were doing and you knew that at least one would probably get sold, and instead of taking a great deal in the 70-80 bil range which they were more than willing to give you, you got greedy and made an offer that noone should accept. OFC you have already made off like bandits from this situation, several free motherships and 30 billion isk from ka-tet according to crib. PaddyPaddy Nihildarnik Gallente The Scope	Posted - 2008.01.13 08:10:00 - [326] I have read the vast majority of posts in this and the original DMC vs Ka-tet threads and feel I have to comment of a few issues here with (hopefully) as little bias as I can summon. I am ex ka-tet that much is true, but quite frankly from my current understanding of the issue I am both angered and sickened as I could possibly be over an interweb space ship game. Honestly, as a member of Ka-tet for over a year, a leading FC there for over 6mths and its admiral for 2 months I state with the heaviest of hearts that I am utterly ashamed at the current path of action of the Ka-tet leadership. Congrats guys, you have succeeded putting the final shackles of Petdom onto a once promising and possibly greatest alliance that eve could have known. The last sheds of loyalty towards the Ghost of Ka-tet have been removed and I promise many a cat flug from a bag and many a wick lit from a dramabomb. But perhaps that deserves another thread. To whet the pallet of the F5ers out there here are some home truths from ka-tet side. 1) There has been a long standing push for reseting droners and politically manipulating the drone region for a minimum of 8mths. For at least 4mths that involved resetting Frege and than DMC. 2) Ka-tet has been bleeding experienced pvpers and FCs for at least 6mths, possibly longer. All attempts to encourage closer pvp were firmly slapped about by emerging powerblocs of carebears within ka-tet. Most of the pvpers left in disgust. 3) Ka-tet was set to lead an assult on DMC before this last assault and we found we were being beaten to the punch by Pure. Same thing happened with FREGE- we prepared to go for a full attack on Frege for close pew and possibly stations when the roaming smashkill gang stubbles upon Frege's downed cyno. Amazing how the smallest click of a mouse changed the fate of frege. Anyway negotiations for a joint attack on DMC were planned with Pure, IRON and INV were also consulted but the upper leadership pulled the pug at the 11th hour without consulting the Admiral (myself). Several days later RA protection pact signed. To the best of my knowledge and sources, which to say the least is extensive, our pulling out was due more to internal powerplays by afor mentioned carebears than because of RA. 4) Despite what people say/think, Ka-tet never recieved any direction/consultation from RA. The relationship was always one of seperate and respectful allies. We realised RA were far stronger, but I think they too respected us as an autonomous entity and something of a "rear guard" for the Cache/drone region area. Ties with RA have existed prior to the formation of Ka-tet proper. So What you may ask? Well what this tells me is that basically the whole attitude of Ka-tet's leadership has 180ed in the last 3 weeks into a pvp focus which I find unlikely. Most of the hardcore pvpers had either left and every corp was in a state of ill preparation or struggling to raise gangs. The exception here would be tdk, a fine and well focused corp of Danes. The majority of pilots in ka-tet however are either lacking in both experience motivation to gain that experience. Some external pressure has pushed ka-tet into this war. Prior to it, a call for donations to "finance" the war was called and I have had rumours of an estimated 30bil being raised to "fund" something to do with the war. This is external to ship replacement programs which are non existent in ka-tet. My guess is this was blood money paid to RA to help tip the scales on their side, perhaps a nice little bonus on top of the titans they are looking to commandeer. The reason I spill this is that an action like that, to basically push out the willing pvpers out of Ka-tet or at the very least not provide for them and than turn around and shackle yourselves to RA in such a fashion spits on the ideals of that once solid group of pilots.
