Well, let us assume the next biggest expansion is called Messiah. What would you like to have in that expansion?
For me, I like new electronic warfare support ship idea so I am proposing the following spaceships.
Caldari - electronic warfare support ship with sensor boosting bonuses for remote sensor boosting so supported ally can shoot farther and lock quicker.
Gallente - electronic warfare support ship with damage boosting bonuses for remote damage modules like magnetic field stabs, ballistic control stabs, gyrostabs and heat stabs so supported ally can shoot quicker with more rate of fire and damage bonuses.
Amarr - electronic warfare support ship with weapons enhancing bonuses for remote weapons modules like tracking links so supported ally can shoot farther with more range multiplier and tracking reduction bonuses.
Minmatar - electronic warfare support ship with spaceship subsystem bonuses for remote subsystem enhancement modules like remote capacitor, armor and shield injection. Supported ally can have additional capacitor, armor and shield pumped into when they are needed.

Mebbe add those bonusses to some of the less used T1 ships instead of adding another T2 variant of something.

Not necessarily. I wouldn't call T1 battleships "throw away" ships.
As for my wishlist, all I'm waiting for is ambulation. Planetary interaction also interests me, but it seems CCP is still a long way from getting that done.

How about more T1 ships? We only have one destroyer per race, there's an area ripe for improvment. Give us more variety of destroyers and battlecruisers. That'd open up opportunities for more T2 ship roles in the future.
Also, more T1 frigates and cruisers would (a) give us more variety in fittings, (b) make low-skillpoint PVP more interesting, and (c) add to the eye candy. I mean really, what high-SP player ever buys a T1 frigate other than their race's Rifter equivalent? There shouldn't be a "best" T1 frigate or cruiser for each race.

As a proud Amarr pilot, I tend to find myself stuck in stations as members of our race die all the time.
I think they should improve the station experience by making avatars that you can walk about it.

The Amarr ones though would be really gimped. After walking halfway down the corridor you'd run out of energy and die of exhaustion.

-Ambulation! -DirectX 10 graphics, including: -Freaking client native antialiasing (OH GOD THE PIXELS) -Client native multicore CPU support -Infiniband server architecture for less lag(tm) -Moar antialiasing -Dedicated mini-profession ships, possibly as tech2 destroyers. Minmatar could get a salvager, Caldari could get a hacker, Amarr could get an archaeology ship, and Gallente could get... ummm... a mobile karaoke bar for pirate ransoms? -The presence of Jovians. Not as a player race, but maybe in storylines? Maybe they have one or two regions that players can get access to by doing something specific for them? Their space would contain exclusively lowsec zones, due to CONCORD not being present (but they'd watch pod pilot behavior nevertheless and deduct security standing for crimes as normal for lowsec). You could run missions there to get access to Jovian LP stores with gear, skills and ships, but they'd be at least twice as expensive in both ISK and LP *or* CCP finds a storyline reason for the fact that Jove modules and ships are not quite as powerful as everyone thought all of a sudden -Did I mention antialiasing?

Fix stuff already ingame: LAG (More hardware wont help, gotta find a way to lower server load. Yesterdays SS- battle, it started lagless. But as ships got blown up lag took hold. Abaonded drones and wrecks a lagbomb?)

id like to see more veriety of "PR" stuff and mods that rea not neceserely usefull but fun. more elit faction ships. space structures like orbeting cemetarys, interesting stuff like that. infact - more rp incentives. like corp size long term misions that could take month of killing minmitar players and as a result your corp can get a emperial apoc or something.

Personally, I'd like them to fix trinity first. More T1 ships, Dessies frigates Cruisers maybe BCs and a Bs or two. Fix the **** UI, make ammo have an "Switch All Ammo" option. More Atmosphere in space (yes a pun). As it stands, the only major difference between the systems are the gates/stations and the color of the sun. Planets all look the same, belts are the same, there's barely any space debris out there anymore (I remember the good ole days where people would sell BMs to interesting things in space ^^). Yeah, and reduce lag.

1) Take the scripts concept to the next level, let NPCs occasionaly drop 'randomized' T1 object with variable benefit/cost ratios or where more than one positive modifier randomized (capped) distribution, e.g. a T1 random EAN variant that gives 10/5/25/20, or a mag stab which gives sless ROF and more damage, that kind of thing. something to spice up the ship fitting variety a little
2) Also increase officer/complex spawn in line with population rates to cap the silly 2.6 bil for a shield booster nonsense.
3) A skill which lets you remotely talk to an agent to start a mission, each level in line with the trading skills, station, solar system, 5 jumps, region etc, but only from a station owned by the same corporation, this will diseminate the mission-lag hubs.

This. It's silly to have beams perfectly aimed at the center of your ship and its nose when they are supposed to all completely miss. Also explosion effects off the ship when missiles don't hit for full damage.

I'm running premium content at twice the FPS that classic content ran before Trinity, on a (back then) Ç150 two year old video card, at 1680x1050.
Fix your abacus of a computing machine before you flame CCP for one of the best things they've done in a while.

Screw Ambulation, no clue why everyone finds Ambulation the greatest thing since sliced toast.
Better new player integration with a less steep learning curve. Fix the speed/lag problems by central points like Jita. A greater variety in missions.
I'd rather be able to walk around on planets than in stations. Give your character more purpose than a name and an avatar, add some RPG elements, equip some items. i mean gear, targetting helmets which improve navigation or locking speed etc, armour with specific attributes, weapons for non-ship pvp (being able to conquer stations on a planet). This suggestion is probably not possible due to the amount of new mechanics and engine rewrites needed.
I say now that novelty of Ambulation will wear off pretty quick when it arrives. It will get tredious after having to run to an agent for the 100th time.

this could involve a change to the current circles emenating from the agressing ship to a target painter like effect that is easily visible. ie - make it brighter and maybe a different colour.

allow people with high status with a particular empire to invest in them, it might only be a miserly return but it would be an interesting introduction to empire banking. potential for password protected accounts so hacked player accounts investments are safe (or a bit safer).
ability to place sentry guns at player owned stations. this could be linked to the upgrades so you wouldnt get a battlestar station unless it was fully upgraded and in a capital system.
inspace player owned plex's - who wouldnt want to have their own plex - would need sentry towers and all that kind of stuff...

This could be used to better issue standing orders through alliances, or even just note key systems and track hostile movement.

1. Orca ORE ship (I heard a rumor that there is a non-capital variant of the mining support ship for high sec. in the works.)
2. A TIMER FOR CYNO PILOTS! GAWD! Ten minutes never lasted so long! I swear, it must last for like an hour or something!

1. Boost cadari in PvP(redisign missile ships and close to med range hi dmg dealers and fix rail ships) and nerf us in PvE 2. Less lag 3. Reevaluate destroyers and tier 1 BCs 4. Increase combat time,reduce the whole positioning and searching for targets 5. Remove local and give us a real intel tool(needs skill to use and AVOID) 6. Fix amarr so we can move on to some other race whining 7. Make pos warfare a bit more fun (if even posible) 8. Subsystem targeting 9. Tier 2 destroyers(after their fix) 10. Ambulation

DirectX 10 - weather you like it or not it's the new thing. If EVE does not upgrade and advance in both it's technology and what it has to offer players in terms of graphics, sound and most of all gameplay then EVE will probably lose players as new and possibly better games come out. (Not that I think any other game can compare to EVE as it is my all time favorite. I only want what is best for EVE)

Lag - (this may take some research) I have 2 accounts, 2 computers... on one I see very little lag, the other I am not so lucky... the 3.2 GHz, 4 Gig Ram, 256 Meg PCI-E video machine works real well, the 2.8 GHz, 2 Gig Ram, 256 Meg AGP box tends to lag while things load... the more junk, the more lag... - A good "For best results - System Requirements" - Loading Order - Make it so Ships are not targetable until the client has loaded...

*Meaningful tactical enviroments.
*Poll feature for the forum.
*a monthly/quaterly poll of what we would like to see revamped/added next.
*Always want new ships (with new models).
*Cool new graphics for planets/backgrounds/weapons fire/shield effect etc etc.
*Personally I would love station combat at some point. (I think it could really work well if it took a few pointers from "Rainbow Six: Raven shield" - DO NOT have CSS/Unreal style combat where its just a bunnyhopping fragfest, but istead a more tactiful slow paced combat. In Raven Shield you could not run but only walk quickly and there was no bunnyhopping rubbish because you could not jump!).
*Planetary interaction (with at somepoint a ground FPS).

A hotkey for "fire ze turrets" like all of them at once.
A hotkey that allows you to scroll thru the active windows you have open (like how alt tab works in windows)
An "unload all turrets/missile launcher" and "load all turrets/missile launchers" with command.
Collision bubbles for larger objects (such as stations and hollow asteroids) to be more correct.
Fix warp and dock command for ships so it always docks, sometimes it only says "requesting dock premission" but nothing happens even if youre at 0m
Some way to customize where the "targeted items" things appears, at certain resolutions the damage dealt/shot missed message pretty much overlaps the targeted items so that if you target more than 2 things you won't be able to see HP bars of the 3rd 4rd targets.

My only wish is for the addition of Jovian ships to add some serious content, and at the same time giving the older (as in game-time not aged) players something to skill train for. Anyone can jump into non-capital ships relatively early on, but if your end-game isnt to fly titans, carriers etc it would offer a long but ultimately satisfying/rewarding experience on the pilot skills front.
Thinking along the lines here of for example Jovian frigate requirement being all 4 faction frigate skills to level 5 - with the prize at the end of the rainbow being the ability to fly a ship that stands out from the rest in its class - I'm sure there's a lot of guys out there with +50mill SP who would relish that challenge and give their skilling some much needed new direction and motivation.

3. Optional Subsystem Targeting (high/med/low rack), which could usher in whole new weapon systems for disabling specific ship modules.
4. Make warp scrambling based on size of the ship doing the scrambling, so a single frigate cannot scram a battleship, etc, but would require several smaller vessels or one large one.

6. A new Amarr emperor and getting the overall 'story' moving again.
7. Occasional Jove ships around again causing problems.
8. Gladiator-style arena combat, with gambling options and stat tracking for competitors.

They'd carry only six or seven fighters and several dozen drones. But in addition to fighters they can mount guns, and get a mild speed boost from battleship sized MWDs (I'm thinking top speeds with standard MWD of around 400 or so with good skills.) The price of an unfitted light carrier would be maybe 100 mil less than that of a standard, but they'd use their own [cheaper] light carrier skillbook. I'm thinking Advanced SSC 5 instead of Cap Ships 1 as well, which will also save ISK in the short term for the pilot.
2. Light logistics ships. Tech 2 destroyers with a huge capacitor and fitting bonuses for reppers. Naturally they would also have a greatly reduced signature radius, since standard logistics ships already have smaller radii than standard destroyers. What other bonus do these ships have? How about a 90% volume reduction on ammunition stored in their cargo hold. Makes transporting reloads for battleships and dreads easier when there's POS spamming to be done.
3. More diverse NPCs in belts. Random battleship spawns in 0.1 - 0.3 space. T2 rats that actually fight with T2 capability.
4. Random rare ore spawns in Low Sec belts.
5. Removal of sentry guns below 0.4 sec.
6. Preliminary plans for tactical environments need to be in the works. If nothing else, take away the ability to hit a ship that is behind another ship. If you do that then weaker ships can take cover behind tankers or asteroids. Also, cancel EW effects if the target becomes completely blocked by a solid object, such as an asteroid or station. This will force PvPers to actually dogfight and maneuver in such a way that maintaining damage and EW on the target isn't just automatic.

3. Non-consentual pvp love. Current empire wardec system combined with NPC corps is a joke. Scrap factional warfare until you get the core of eve back to where it was supposed to be. Quit pandering to the expectations of people who came from softer games.

5. More volume controls to balance sound output instead of the current deafening warp & missile sounds while other sounds are barely audible.
6. If you're going to add ships, add NEW ships. It's a real let down for the new sparklies to just be reskins of the same old boats.
7. Give Amarr an astrometrics frigate (with an actual new model) so they have one less thing to gripe about. Maybe they'll shutup for awhile...
8. Since Ambulation is probably our next big expansion, try to give us some destruction ability with it. I know, I know... Teaspoon effect, death problems, yadda yadda. Don't care. If you're going to add something with which someone can sit their blubbery butt in a station for a year straight making tons of isk (bars, liposuction clinics, clothes sellers, etc), there had better be a way to disrupt their happy carebear ways. Otherwise you are furthering the tone of the game away from the 'cold, dark world' you guys still like to post.
9. More Ambulation: While lounging in chairs and saluting are neat, they will be cool for probably no more than a week. Then it becomes boring repetition. Sorry. I know you guys probably work for months on this stuff, but it's the way of it when it comes to gamers. Nifty emotes and shiney hallways are not real content. Try to work in something that actually matters to the rest of the game. Perhaps something like hacking a corperation's hq office to get info that is already available via killboards to remove some of the need for metagaming endevours. Or perhaps doing something like a ship scan against a player's market or CONCORD records, where it returns just a few results. Something with lasting interesting uses. I don't think standing around staring up at a star map will be that meaningful for very long... Sorry.
10. New module and ship concepts. A graviton beam with good range that reduces a ships agility by tons but doesn't affect speed (a new counter to go fast opponents). Or a ship which carries little offensive abilities of it's own, but can scramble or briefly control opponent drones and fighters. Not to mean those are good ideas since I only thought about them for 10 seconds each, but new concepts in that sort of way...
In that order and understandng that 1 and 2 are lightyears more important than 3 and 4, which are in turn far more important than the rest.

1) Complete Re-Vamp of POS gameplay

6) Indicators for EWar (when it is being applied to you)

9) Make invention more predictable (not more profitable, just easier to anticipate the outcome) or provide a stable method of producing t2 items and ships for corps / players that do not have a BPO (if you get unlucky on a chain of invention jobs it can disrupt your war effort..... let players, who can afford it, fly the ships they want)
10) I'd like to see meaningful gameplay incorperated into amublation, if it is just a chat program I would really rather the time be spent elsewhere. I like the idea of ambulation but I have a feeling it will be rather hollow for a long time following release.

1) Empire NPC warfare - I want to see a Minmatar fleet pounding on an Amarr station.
2) Empire PC warfare - I want to be part of the Minmatar fleet pounding on an Amarr station. (gain/lose faction standing accordingly) Would this be essentially joining the Minmatar navy?
3) Empire warfare consequences - I want to see Minmatar take over an Amarr station/system with all of the crazy market and security standing goodness that goes with it. (Is a conquered territory high-sec, low-sec, in between? Does having a fleet in-system make a difference in security status?)
4) Quafe IRL again (that universal monopoly has to start sometime, why not before EVE Gate?)
5) Empire warfare privateering - I want to get a Letter of Marque from the Minmatar and hunt down Amarr ships. A share of the booty (modules/ammo or the ship depending on value?) and the usual faction standing changes.
Feel free to change Minmatar/Amarr for whatever flavors you like. Although it certainly would be amusing to have a Caldari fighting for the Amarr against the Gallente commanded by a Minmatar.
If you can't tell, I think that Empire warfare could be positively delicious. Whether or not it will be is another matter.

i.e. speed-fit T1 frigates or any ceptor with a MWD. Putting +anything warp on something at this point has almost no use. Hactors put permascram on things that can't line up for warp quickly in low sec, and even +100000 warp strength won't get you through a bubble camp.

Avoid DX10 like the plauge. If you upgrade, go to OpenGL- better graphics than DX10 with none of the compatability issues, plus it's open source... Ambulation would be nice, but let's get that cluster-side performance stuff sorted _first_. User interface needs fixing. API needs someone assigning to it full-time. Website needs someone assigning to it full-time. Planetary interaction would be awesome. Do it. Better control of POSes, outposts, and so on. End macro miners. End ISK spammers. Put in some really, really simple filters and restrictions to stop that sort of ****. I don't know, perhaps have a restriction on characters sending email till they're 2-4 weeks old or out of trial. Transparency. Lots more of it with CCP. Lots more.
Oh, and T2/T3 Shuttles. Even if shuttles are the only T3 items.

Ships: 1) New ship designs for under-strength classes (Destroyers, freighters, etc). I'd love to have the same variety in destroyers that I enjoy in cruisers. 2) Mini-freighters (200k m3?)
Caldari Online: A great missile-renaming, to remove the current confusion forced on new players. Right now, we have two classes of missiles, 'regular' and 'rocket style': rocket - heavy assault missile - torpedo light missile - heavy missile - cruise missile and then the launchers: rocket - heavy assault missile - torpedo standard - assault - heavy - cruise
I look at the chart, and I ask myself, if heavy assault missile launchers shoot heavy assault missiles, what do assault launchers shoot?
Maybe I'm picking nits (in fact, no maybe, I am), but wouldn't something like 'light rocket' 'rocket' 'heavy rocket' 'light missile' 'standard missile' 'heavy missile' Make more sense? Maybe 'rocket' 'light torpedo' 'heavy torpedo'?
And while we're at it, how about an 'assault launcher' style launcher for my raven, so that I can spam heavy missiles?
Characters: Skill queue. Make it a new skill that lets you queue 1 skill/level trained. Yes, people could queue up 5 level 5 skills and come back a month later and be done... but there's not that great a gap between logging on for 30 seconds 5 times in a month and not logging on at all. The benefits far outweigh the costs on this one.
Getting around: An in game route planner with: -Multiple routes, for comparing alternatives -2d-style in-game map, because most of the time, I care about nodes traversed, not actual distance and position -individual system avoidance settings/weights (keep me out of jita) ------ {o,o} (__(| -"-"- EVEMon - The open source Jamaican wiseman. |

Customize/programmable UI (i know WoW sux and all.....but it's UI kick a$$) plenty of more battle ship (T1, T2..all welcome), some with high damage, some with best tanking, some fast, some more... a warning when you are targeted by a warfare (that telling WHO, WHAT type, and what effect)...customize UI a T1 big industrial, easy to train, cheap and that can hold around 100k m3. add random temporary malfunction (specially for the warfare) small queue for training skill (like 48h max) all window with plenty of info sortable, filterable, ....customize UI ? plenty Pirate complex (easy to find with standard scanner) in Empire some useless place that are odd / strange / beautifully / remarkable (just like the black monolith and the Amarr War memorial)

speaking for all 3 of me, all I want to see is improvements in the market interfaces and general GUI improvements.
Things like -highlight my orders on the market details screen, and let me modify them from there
GUI indicators for all PVP buff/debuff effects are standard features now, where are they in Eve?
The GUI is stuck in 1999 and it is 2008 now.
Number 1 thing I don't want any resources spent on: Ambulation.

what's with the ambulation hate? It's coming. It's being worked on by a completely separate team. Nothing you say will stop it. If you don't like it don't use it.
I will personally use it because what is the point of avoiding a huge chunk of game content simply because you didn't want it? You're getting it and you're getting it for FREE.
Stop whining.
As for my wish?
FIX LAG! I will be happy if or when that is ever fixed. No crappy DX10. No new ships. no T10 shuttles with 200k M3 and jump portals. Just relatively lag free fleet battles.
If I had an Alt I would probably post with it... |

I have yet to hear of anything ambulation provides that makes it useful, or anything but a blatant draw to players of MMORPGs with human form avatars.

At this point, Eve does not need to be made any easier. Anyone who has done something other than mine in the past year or two will almost certainly think the same thing.

I just want solpwnmobile dreads that can kill 100 ships in a row without reloading/refueling and kill a station and destroy an entire alliance all alone. Is that much to ask? ;_;
Now seriously, even carriers have 2 tiers. Why can't the dread class have 2 tiers as well?
New dreads that can move while in siege-mode, jump further, have clone facilities and bigger cargo capacity so they can hold more honor.

1, Ambulation - if it really is as good as it seemed from the FanFest lecture then it will be a real boon to the game.
2, A few new ships, nothing major but enough that people have stuff to get excited about. A second tier of destroyers with fewer highs and more tanking slots perhaps, T2 XL guns for the dreadnaught pilots...etc.
3, A nerf on Assault Frigates because the boost patch has improved them so much that everyone's flying them.
4, Avoid System/Constellation in the autopilot settings so I don't have to manually plot my course around Jita. --

I won't repeat what others above have said, just generally agree that those long-standing bugs should be fixed finally. + Revamp of all other faction ships. + Add a skill for skill training queuing. Like someone above said - it should allow the training of several skills one after another, without having to log on to switch to next one, but will only work on non-suspended accounts. This would be fair and without any drawbacks for CCP, I guess.

i know something impressive in the way of planetside gameplay is still a ways off but something would be a step in the right direction.
eve is an incredible game but it's starting to miss simple things. gambling games in certain stations is another random idea that i think would be fun.
last thing i want is bigger more powerful ships, though. if all you do is expand the higher end of the game with more content then people will reach it in no time. and after the first few make it, its already old. (edit: and then gets nerfed before anyone else can use it. *cough*titans*cough*)
simple and sustaining content is how you keep the game rich and interesting, not just releasing more higher-end content in the hope of satisfying people who already have everything. those people will just get it quickly and complain for more while the other players get stuck with a feeling of abandonment.

Anyone who fails to see DirectX 10 as being a positive move for EVE on the Windows Platform is full of it. I don't think you really know what DirectX 10 can do for EVE. The engine MUST expand or EVE will die.

I was thinking that since this is the "Pie in the sky" wish list, I would like to add a few more...
Concord reactions: - If in a system where Concord reacts (0.5+) then the concord reaction to an attack made by a pilot in an NPC Corp should be instantaneous. My reason is to limit Suicide Ganking to Player Corps as players in NPC Corps should never be able to survive to see the results of their first attack. Suicide Gankers are bringing PvP (at its worst) to people ill prepared for it, yet they are hiding from the War Dec Mechanics in the game by being in NPC corps. - The Concord reaction time between a Security 1.0 system and a 0.5 system should be noticeable (faster in 1.0 systems) to a point where many more ships would be required in a 1.0 system to suicide gank a ship then in a 0.5 system. - Kill Rights - In Systems where Concord reacts (0.5+), the illegal destruction of a ship should generate a transferable item that grants Kill Rights on the pilot that caused the destruction for a given period of time. - Pod Rights - As above (Kill Rights) but when a pilot is podded in High Sec illegally. - Concord should report to the Insurance Companies on their destruction of a ship for illegal acts. The Insurance companies would then not reimburse the pilot for their loss regardless of the level of insurance they may have purchased.
