WTF ? can someone analyze that please ? My dreams are always like that - mundane situations with some weird **** thrown in.
I'm probably wrong, but I figure if all I dream of is random stuff like that then my brain doesn't have anything serious to process, and that can only be a good thing. Plus, they're hilarious. |

I had this dream years ago, and I still remember it because it was so vivid and strange. I had it while I was in the navy, after pulling 36 straight hours of standing watch and running casualty drills, no sleep and no rest, skipped a few meals and was dehydrated from the heat and humidity in the engine room (air conditioning is the first system lost during drills, and it gets pretty hot)
I was driving along the PCH in my old VW bug, and my car breaks down. I get out and look in the backseat and there is a bunch of bloody body parts all wrapped separately in saran wrap. So I start walking down the highway, look to my side towards the ocean, and there is a beach with a playground on it, but nobody is around.
So I keep looking out onto the ocean, and my vision kind of telescopes out, into the water, and I see these manta ray creatures with human appendages (their head looked like Nightcrawler from the X-Men, arms and legs like a human, but the wings like a ray), and then I see these sharks that have giant tail fins like mako sharks, but they extend all the way to the surface of the ocean and have jellyfish streamers connected to them.
Then I look up and my vision kind of telescopes again to an island. There is some kind of structure on it, but I couldn't really see it, because I was watching a guy pounding away on an anvil.
Then I wake up. Gah, now I'm all creeped out. I haven't swam in the ocean since. The sharks have popped up in my dreams numerous times since then. |

I had the oddest EVE dream last night. There I was in my apartment about to turn on my stereo and all of a sudden EVE like ships came flying out of it. So I run to the kitchen and pull an Ishtar out of the cupboard. I was holding it in my hands like a gun and killing the ships with sentry drones which were eaten by flying clams. Anyhoo back to the kitchen to restock on drones but the clams filled the drone bay with water so they all drowned and I was then being attacked by a swarm of angry clams. |

WTF ? can someone analyze that please ? You are processing a very real concern. The concern that you and your flatmate might spend all of your time, energy and money on about anything except having proper food available at home. This is not uncommon, and is no cause for embarrassment. And when you do manage to put some attention to buying food, the stocks only last for a day at most. One day of having real appetizing food, many more days of eating odd leftover things. Most of us have experienced going to the refrigerator and finding it empty except for old jars of odd condiments. We have all opened cabinets and only found some strange stuff our moms gave you, that even ours flatmates wouldn't eat. All of these experiences/traumas build up in the psyche. Which must process them somehow. Therefore your flatmate is seen consuming things-- desperate, improbable things such as axolotl, unpeeled clementines, and celery sticks. It is likely a symbol of your psyche's legitimate concern-- that everyone in your flat is spending way too much money on booze, and not near enough on nutrition.
