The client randomly crashes (with no message/no error) to desktop (let's say one or two times in a hour) or just causes a blue screen crash (most of the time reporting a MEMORY_MANAGEMENT issue); it does not loses connection just quits or crashes.
I've updated all drivers, attempted to disable the audio card (via bios), removed the audio harware acceleration, disabled ingame sound, bought a new audio card, uninstalled and installed the game several times, but the game keeps crashing (latest patch applied with no errors - latest full client installed too)
System is as follow:
- M/B ASUS P5N-E SLI
- Intel core Duo 6600
- 4 GB S3 DDR2 PC-6400
- 8600 GT Xpert Vision 256 Mb
- Maxtor DiamondMax 320 gb
No overclock, temperatures are normal. No issues with other games.
Client crashes under Vista or XP. After crash to desktop the PC runs smoothly and can immediately connect to the game again.
After trying everything: changing the audio card, upgrading to the 8800 GT, updating bios to the latest versions, updating drivers to the latest versions....
I completely solved the issue removing 2 gb of RAM (sigh). Apparently EVE has issues in managing 4 gb (same problem under VISTA 32 and XP). It is anyway the only game that crashes my PC.
Hope CCP address the issue soon!!!

I am having the same problem, but no blue screen ever, but I only have 1 gb RAM
I've reinstalled multiple times, formatted the hard drive, updated drivers, and disabled all audio and premium graphics but it still does it.

Doesnt XP have issues with 4Gb of ram?
I thought vista was cool with it though.
Silly Q. but are all 4 sticks exatly the same? You could be having timing errors if they are different....

Windows XP 32 bit can only see 2gb of RAM, due to address line restrictions. Your PC has to allocate some address spaces to your hardware as well as the RAM. Im told that enabling PAE might get it above the 2gb threshold.
Vista 32 bit, I have seen recognise between 2gb - 3.7Gb of ram, although for some reason I cant get mine above 2gb 
The 64 bit operating systems can recognise more than 4gb.
